hasunoha

Monks, why don't you face the teachings again?

It's not enough to be rewarded. No matter what you do in this world, it falls short of the monk's great favor. I can't fully repay those who have worked hard for me.

Most aspiring monks probably just want to fit into the mold of being a monk and make a stunned face. (Of course, there are people who are different)

There was a monk in Hasunoha who recommended a book on Southern Buddhism.

Why should you chant Nembutsu with all your heart if you are a disciple of the Jodo sect. Aren't they saying that?
Otherwise, if this denomination is unable to respond to your demands,
It's like going around advertising. it's my teacher's disgrace.
If the path is to destroy your afflictions, you should immediately run to the Southern Empire and become a monk.
I don't know when my life will end, and I shouldn't have time to write without hesitation.
If you are a disciple of one denomination, squeeze out the peace of mind conveyed by your master, squeeze it out,
You should give it. The teachings of Nandian are probably unnecessary.

Are you telling someone who comes to visit with a pale face to read this book?
Are you telling someone who's caught on a cliff and is about to fall to read this book?

It's not a bad idea to recommend a book; you should really face the other person's heart.
To people who are suffering by lamenting that they don't have the energy to do their best
Isn't there a monk who answered “effort is worth it”?

To people who are in the middle of the desert and are suffering from hunger,
It's like squeezing a rag, squeezing it, and offering a twisting drop,
It should be poured out on those who ask for it.
Those who really suffer are praying and drinking even a rag of water.

Even if aliens invade Earth, just like Independence Day,
Even if you rush into a spaceship by plane and save the Earth's crisis,
You can't fully repay a monk's kindness.

Even if you continue to be reincarnated forever in the future and continue to accumulate good deeds and good deeds, you will not be able to fully repay them.

The monk who has tried so hard to answer with hasunoha is about this (sorry, sorry), so it's enough to detect the inside facts of the current state of the Japanese Buddhist world... sorry.
Those who are less conscious will run rampant and discredit the Buddha.
I wonder if Shoho is weak like the fire of a candle and will die out as it is
I'm just worried.

I think the shame of a disciple is the disgrace of the master and monk, and the shame of a master and monk is the shame of the founder.
If you seem to be misled by not being able to respond bluntly, it is better to keep silent.

I'm sorry for making this seem like a bossy sermon.
However, no matter how much remorse you make, it doesn't cost a single yen, so I don't think it's going to be a loss.
I'm on my way too, so I'll do my best! Gassho

If possible, why don't you get points?

I think it is certain that there are various problems with the current state of Japanese Buddhism.

If possible, why don't you earn money?

In the case of the Otani school of the Shinshu sect, if you say “I want to get it, so I'm looking for a temple you can belong to,” and if you get permission from the chief priest of that temple, you can get it at the head temple.
Unless you have a special physical disability or mental or physical disability, you can earn money if you get permission from the temple you belong to.
If you pass the certification exam, or go to a religious school and take something called teacher training (7 days, canned food twice at Higashi Honganji Temple in front of Kyoto Station), you can also get a “teacher qualification” (the qualification necessary to become a chief priest or a mentor at ceremonies such as funerals).

Thank you for your valuable words.

“No matter how much remorse you do, it doesn't cost a single yen, so there's no loss.”

That's right.

However, it is something that still leaves a feeling of self-reliance somewhere, such as “self-reflection,” where I look back on myself with my heart.

As you said

“Facing the teachings”

That's probably the point. Let's be illuminated by “Buddhism” together.

Thank you for your valuable words.

I received scolding encouragement

There are people of various religions, denominations, and irreligious groups who ask questions here.
Therefore, I think it would be rather confusing to respond to everyone using only the Jodo sect's doctrine.
Therefore, sometimes I recommend methods other than Nembutsu.

Also, there are many things in common between the Southern League and the North Legend.
There is no need to differentiate.
The sutra called Dhammapada from the Southern Legend has also been handed down as the Dharmapada Sutra in the Hokuden.
Zazen probably began with meditation.
Their common purpose is to eliminate suffering.

Giving thirsty people water is more important than making them chant nembutsu.

Also, the doctrine of the Jodo sect is nothing but power. In order to reach enlightenment, you must practice on your own. Amida welcomes us to a place suitable for ascetic practices called the Pure Land of Paradise, and supports the ascetic practices there.
Therefore, it is OK to practice ascetic practices other than nembutsu even in this world.
Also, that ascetic practice revolves around, and it also helps in chanting nembutsu.

Nonetheless, as you said, it's true that you haven't been able to truly face the person who asked the question. There are times when I feel sorry for being completely powerless and immature.
There were a few times I thought I'd stop responding.
But sometimes, when someone appreciates me, I think I'll try a little harder.
We have received strong encouragement from you, and we will continue to work hard.
Let's do our best together.

I'm not saying no. If I go to hell, please guide me.

It's 100 years too early to preach!

After meditating for a bit, I caught a glimpse of the situation,
I felt that I was in a state of contentment, that I had come to terms with it.
You are an unproven, Oga Zen practitioner.
It's just the sky, so strange, so far away.
Before they knock people down,
You should hit your own head against the corner of the tofu.
Keep your feet on the ground and walk step by step.

Even though you are a monk
I don't understand anything when I say bossy things.
That's the tone, isn't it?
So, do you understand?
I started practicing Esoteric Buddhism when I was 5 years old
Along the way, I spent my time feeling that it divided life and death,
I didn't get the slightest realization, and when I was fed up with my own powerlessness,
After 40, I transferred to the teachings of the Jodo religion and felt at ease (angin).
Half a century has passed.
I'm not denying what you've learned,
If you take the position you have learned and deny others,
Frankly speaking, there's still more to come.

You can write anything anonymously, but here are sects, temple signs,
The names have been revealed, and everything is written proudly at my own risk.
Depending on the content, they said that they preached false teachings (Ianjin) or wrong teachings,
Be prepared to denounce from the denomination and excommunication depending on the details,
Be close to that feeling for the counselor right in front of you
I'm writing about my feelings to the fullest.
Don't understand that kind of thing at all, do something like this
I can't help but think that what I'm writing itself still has a long way to go.

First, reflect on yourself.
I'm young, so my life is yet to come,
Keep your feet firmly on the ground
Being able to work hard in your daily life and career and deepen your studies
I pray.

Am I a person who can say such bossy things every time I write
After being an embarrassed and pathetic person, I reflect on it every time.

That is hypocrisy

I also think the answers I wrote only please study on your own are some of them. A long time ago, I myself was scolded by another answering monk, and then I tried not to do anything other than when I dared to throw it away or when my way of studying became the main focus.
... but, “Most people who want to become monks just want to fit into the mold of being a monk and make a stunned face.” “It's enough to detect the inside truth of the current state of the Japanese Buddhist world...” What is this? How much of the nation's 350,000 monks do you know?

Do you think that even Tengen got it because you felt a little bit saved? You may have thought that you followed them by decorating them with beautiful phrases like you have a great fortune, but it only looks like they're saying this. “My mentor and monk are great, but you're a scum, aren't you?” Tenyudo's mentor also really looks down on people in his life... I feel that way from this sentence. That is a shame for teachers and monks. It's a shame for the sect. It's a shame for the Buddha.

Among the volunteers who rushed in due to the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the one who rushed in was a monk. While the number of volunteers rapidly declined from around 3 years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, saying “that's enough,” it is also monks who continue to stay close to those affected by the disaster even now. Whether it was the earthquake in Kumamoto or the typhoon the other day, how many monks have accumulated bad fortune?

According to the 2004 Soto sect census, the average annual income of a monk is only about 20,000 different from the average of Japanese citizens. Moreover, most of them are annotated with 3 million or less. There are no exceptions, and the reality of monks in Japanese Buddhism as a whole is not as surprising as you might believe.

Since ancient times, there have always been zazen ceremonies, Buddha's birth parties, volunteering, and puja, who has decided that Japanese Buddhism is an astonishing occupation where there are only funerals? I'm ecstatic about dripping wrong images like you. You are the cancer of Japanese Buddhism. A serious hypocrite like you has made Japan a cramped country full of bad words!! Your words have taken the Buddha's mercy from people's hearts and turned into a desert! Noticed that!! It is only when you notice it that you are freed from reincarnation!!!

Your zazen is not zazen. It's self-righteous. That kind of thing is called “creating evil while thinking that it is not evil, and only misthinking that evil should not be rewarded.” Sit back down from the beginning.

“Hard work is worth it”

Amayudo

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is my humble answer to the question.

Jusei is simply an immature person who took about 15 years to learn the entire path from Southern Buddhism (early fundamental/fundamental Buddhism) to Tibetan Buddhism, but there are certainly teachings of Shakyamuni (Buddha) in Southern Buddhism (early/fundamental Buddhism) and Tibetan esoteric Buddhism, and I believe that originally, superiority or inferiority cannot be attached to them.

After that, in order to achieve enlightenment, I think it will be how each of us should make practical use of a number of useful teachings in Buddhist practice.

Truly, in light of that person, I know that if teaching Southern Buddhism (early fundamental/fundamental Buddhism) is necessary, even for that person's roots, it may be necessary to show that convenience.

Anyway, I'm still an immature person who is still an immature person, but I would like to study and work hard every day so that by preparing a wide range of drugs (convenient) with medicinal effects (convenient) as much as possible, I can contribute to counterfactual theory and medicine for the disease, even if it is excessive. That's right. “Hard work is worth it.” I will do my best.

I would like to ask for your wise advice.

I read it. The fact that the sleeves touch each other is also a kind of relationship.
We are blessed with this kind of relationship, so let's praise Nembutsu together while getting lost in this filthy soil.
And let's pass away together in the Pure Land of Paradise.
Let's go to Hananote-na with our neighbors in paradise.
