Words to say to children taking the exam

A child takes the junior high school entrance exam.
Due to circumstances, I can only apply to 1 school of my choice.
It's a one-shot game, so I'm starting to feel uneasy in my own way.
Now that it's a little over a month until the actual performance, what kind of words are you saying to the person himself
I'm at a loss as to whether I should play it.
I thought about what kind of words I would be happy if I were to be told,
I wonder what words will resonate with children.
Thank you for your advice.

You can also choose not to call out

If you can't find the words you want to say to them, there's probably no need to force them to speak out.
My older 2 children also took the junior high school entrance exam, so I know how difficult it is ^^;

In my case, my wife, who is a cram school teacher, accompanied me in my studies and was constantly hitting my ass, so I dared to just sit back and watch.
I think I made an effort to maintain a normal sense of everyday life.

If no specific words come to mind, that's fine, isn't it?
Parents should stand up and take a close look at their child's hard work.
And no matter what the outcome is, let's fully praise my child for his hard work.
I think what matters is not the result, but the process.

I believe it, I guess.

Good evening. My family also had junior high school entrance exams, so I understand all the worries from this season. When I stayed still, I hadn't held it in my hands for a long time, so I remember folding a lot of origami.
It's called “words that resonate with children,” but if I were to say it, would it be “I believe it”? “... so do your best” is unnecessary or rather intrusive. It's a matter of making up your own mind.
So, it's close to Hayashi, but I think it's better to “be passive here.” The rooms are organized and there is a study environment, and meals are served properly within a fixed range of time. Even if you don't eat or it's late, prepare it at the same time again. I think that is the extent to which we can take the initiative.
You've probably gone to an entrance exam school, so your teacher will point out problems and give you assignments. The child faces it, and then it is the parents' turn. If there is an action from the child, they will respond; if not, they will perform the above two “duties as parents.”
You don't just want them to “pass”, they want them to take a “step towards adulthood”, right? Think of it as a “method” for that.

Words to acknowledge

Good evening.

Is your son taking the exam? It's tough.

I don't know if it would be helpful, but when my son was in preschool, I asked his teacher, “What words were you happy to be told by mom and dad?” It seems that they answered “You did your best” when asked. I see. Since then, I've been calling out to my son, “You did your best.”
People have a desire to “be recognized by someone.” Therefore, I think words such as “you did your best” and “you are doing your best” will be appreciated.

Also, words such as “I'll buy this for you if you pass” are encouraging, but they are cruel words in the unlikely event that you don't pass. Please be careful.

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is a humble answer to the question.

Junior high school entrance exam... I also volunteered at one school, and I felt uneasy.

If I could call out to myself at that time...

“Nothing in life is determined by the results of this entrance exam. More than that, it is determined by the people you meet. Whether or not you have a good encounter is not determined by this result alone. Above all else, I want them to be people who can face people and things sincerely and sincerely. Even if this result isn't good, if you face it sincerely and sincerely, you will surely be able to recover, and high school, college, and employment are important, but above all else, if you have honesty, you will be blessed with good encounters, supported and helped by others, and you will be able to live a better life.”

I wonder if it's become a bit too high...

“This won't decide everything in your life, but don't give up and work hard until the end.”

I wish you the best of luck.
