Jodo Shinshu, Soto, Shingon

Excuse me, the title is meant not to be seen by a certain monk.

It's a consultation.

I'm from home, but I was lucky enough to have mentors and monks. That teacher, monk, and friend told me about the fact that I'm recuperating at home at my parents' house due to mental illness, that I don't know much about my medical condition, that I don't use the excuse that I'm disabled and recuperate at home at my parents' house, live alone, disappear if my parents don't allow me to become independent, and that it's OK to annoy my parents by disappearing when I become an adult.

They told me that in order to leave my parents' house, get a job, and live alone, the judgment of the workplace manager or attending physician is necessary, so don't use that as an excuse.

I know you should be independent, but isn't it strange that you disappear because of that and you don't mind worrying about your family, because you're an adult?

My mentors, monks, and friends are all being hunted down with opinions like those described above. My friend treated me like a child and made a bunch of taunts, and even though I apologized, there was no apology at all.

According to the teacher and monk, true filial piety is to contribute to society, not to cause concern to parents, so it is okay to disappear and make the family worry. People with disabilities who recuperate at their parents' home, don't work, and don't contribute to society are all filial.
Not all people with disabilities can leave their parents' homes, because their medical conditions are different from person to person.

I was also told that when I'm depressed because I feel betrayed, my ability to get angry at the point of being betrayed is small.

I cried a lot by myself. Because of this incident, my auditory hallucinations, which had been cured until recently, have recurred, and my heart is in turmoil. I'm still crying while writing this.

Am I funny?
What do you guys think?

If you're being abused by your family, it's a good idea to leave the house. However, if you have a good relationship with your family, I don't think it's necessary to force yourself to leave the house.
Prioritize regaining your mental and physical health with the help of those around you.
Independence means living according to one's own ideas, not according to someone else's wishes.
If you live your life thinking that you want to contribute to society without worrying as much as possible while recuperating at home and improving your physical condition little by little, then you are mentally independent.
Abandoning one's own thoughts and living according to the ideas of others is not self-reliance.
I don't think you're crazy.

you are right

I read it.
As the Holy Scripture said, I don't think you're crazy.
Rather, I think it's normal.

There are various situations and incidents up until now, and they probably exist now, so I can't say unequivocally which ones are good or bad, but at least I think your thoughts are correct.

Everyone has the right to live a healthy mind and body while respecting each other. At the same time, it is a condition for living. Giving advice, support, and helping others is important for living together, but the act of ignoring people's will and forcing them is an infringement. I mean, it's probably a crime.

Even if you have a disability, you have the right to live, and this does not mean that it is causing trouble to society. People with disabilities are not unfaithful.

Contributing to society is also an important act, but first of all, it is more important than anything else to live a healthy mind and body, and to live while being on good terms and helping each other with the people around you and your family.

There may also be relationships with those people, but rather than that, please rest your mind and body first, and if you have an illness, get examined and recover.
Then, calm your mind and take a fresh look at your relationships with those people.
It's not a matter of rushing either.
Please consider your own physical condition and health condition carefully before making a decision.

I sincerely pray that your mind and body will gradually recover and be healed from now on, and that you will be able to live a healthy and sincere friendship with all of you.
Please come back here again.

We are waiting for you. You're not alone, are you?

I read it again. Still, they might say you're wrong or something like that. OK, let's just nod for a while, let's just relax. Also, please nourish your energy. After recovering your strength in that way, please think about your future relationships as well.
There are people who have wrong opinions and ways of thinking, even if they are teachers. Teachers aren't all right either. Please feel free to reduce the burden on your mind.

Let's stop disappearing.

I think the disappearance is a good sign of disloyalty.

I also think it's very important to be independent, but disappearing is not self-reliance.

Contributing to society is a very good thing, but first, you will be able to keep your feet firmly on the ground, and then mentally leave the nest with your parents. Isn't it filial piety to have your parents look at you?

Even so, there must be times when parents feel uneasy.
At such times, I think Maya's act of filial piety is to talk to her parents as a report and make them feel at ease.
I feel that way.

So now let's stop disappearing by force and worrying about people around us.
Please be healed both mentally and physically, and then take action.
Also, please tell others about your painful experiences up until now.
There are a lot of people like Maya now who have heartfelt pain from the bottom of their heart.
It would be great if Kamaya's experience could one day support the hearts of others! I'm thinking without permission (laughs)

It's fine! I also think Maya isn't mistaken ^_^
