Unsure

I've been worried since about a month ago
“Do I really have confidence in myself and the world right now?”
When I think about that, I don't understand
I feel like I don't understand everything (things, people, etc.), and I'm frightened by anxiety and fear.
What should I do
It's not easy to divide

[Mysterious] I don't understand anymore

“Do I really exist, myself or the world right now?”
It's really strange, isn't it? it's strange, isn't it?

Literally, it's out of my mind.

By the way, have you read the sutras?
The words “mysterious” and “mysterious” appear here and there in sutras. In a sense, not trying to force yourself to explain things that cannot be fully explained is also the basic attitude of Buddhism.

There's no problem if you're playing with thought experiments, but I hope you don't get too addicted to the depth and won't be able to come out. worship

It's not a Buddhist word, but there are words like this.
“I Think, Therefore I Am” Descartes
If you have a problem right now, I think it's certain that you with that problem exist, and that there is a world where you exist.

Things change depending on which direction you look at them!

I read your question!

Does this world exist or does it not exist?
Problems similar to Omikan are something that many people have been worried about since ancient times.
Many poets have composed songs on the theme “Is this world a dream or reality (depression)?”

So what's the answer? Speaking of which, both can be said to be correct answers.

Right now, I'm living this reality very hard. If there is today, there will be tomorrow. If you look at it from that side, this world certainly exists.

However, this world is a temporary thing, and if you look at it from the perspective that humans are originally born from nothing and then return to nothing, it can also be said that it is nothing more than a temporary fantasy.

In other words, perceptions only change depending on how you look at it, and the world just exists as it is.
I'm just giving meaning to the world as it is, based on Omikan's subjectivity.

However, even with that being said, we are living in this world, even in our hypothetical form. Omikan-san will have to live the way he is today for a few more decades.

If that's the case, why don't you first try living the reality right in front of you?
Also, wouldn't it be very cool if you could live a way of life without causing obsession with the status, honor, or wealth that you have acquired, saying “after all, such things are just temporary things in this world”?

Please use it as a reference!

Try pinching your cheek hard

Omikan-sama

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is a humble answer to the question.

Try pinching your cheeks hard.

If it hurts, it means you definitely exist (laughs)

In Buddhism, the state of everything is explained by “sky and luck.”

I would be grateful if you could use that question as an opportunity to learn about ontology and epistemology in Buddhism.
