The manners of Sanzen

I'm studying Buddhism by myself.
However, when I read the books of famous monks from the past, I felt like I would end up with philosophy.
I have nothing to do with the temple.
I don't care about the denomination, but I want to learn Buddhism while talking carefully.

For example, speaking of Zen, as it is called “practical virtue,” I understand that if practice is not involved, it ends in Buddhist studies, so there is no meaning.
Rather than asking and answering questions, I would like to meet someone who “thinks I understand” and can knock down my “shallow” Buddhist fantasies and guide me.

I have no idea how to meet a good mentor or how to ask for one.
I would appreciate your advice.

Sanzen is about participating in the self itself

As Dogen Zenji says, if you don't get a “master teacher,” you'll have no choice but to not learn.
If you don't meditate under a monk whose direction is clearly defined, it will end with a journey to accumulate knowledge. There is no settlement.
Probably because I don't know what to do.
I don't know what to do.
A state where direction is not visible.
Buddhism is the path of revealing oneself.
Buddhism and Zen are not useful.
The Buddha, who was naked and did not have a single word for Buddhism, completely gave up, had nothing at all, and became selfish and did nothing. To practice Hannya Haramitsu in depth is to do it with oneself and not to do it.
People seek Buddhism because they want to get it, so it is beneficial.
If you really want enlightenment, it becomes clear by forgetting even the heart you are really looking for, doing everything thoroughly with an attitude of no income and no knowledge, and making yourself do anything. If you bring in an idea, it won't be reckless or strange.
The beginning of sanzen meditation is unimaginable. The original silence of the self away from thought is the beginning of ascetic practice.
Humans are designed so that if they lose their own activities, active activities, and things they do, they are always ❝ fully automatic ❞ clear.
In the Soto sect, I think the lineage of Iida Twain, Inoue Yoshiyuki, and Inoue Kudo is the clearest.
You don't learn that person's teachings.
What that person is explaining is the self, the law, and the true nature of the self.
That is Buddhism, and what people call “Buddhism” is a generic generic drug. Isn't it Buddhist culture?
So no matter how much you try, it's probably not going to be difficult.
Even if you learn things, if you make a mistake in the way you learn, you'll head to Tondemoni.
My mentor who makes me learn Buddhism is a demon.
People who make them look at themselves, make them look at their own effects and how they are, and make them reveal the root causes of human opinions are serious leaders.

Whether you realize it or not, corruption in the world won't change.
Enlightenment without Bodhicitta is bad.
In order to quickly realize it, reveal Buddhism, and become the child of the world, if you quickly apply for Bodhicitta and realize that you are not going to sow the seeds of innocence, purity, wisdom, and mercy, you won't be able to do anything.

I think it's a good thing that you're studying about Buddhism. It would be even better if we could put it into practice even more.
First, why don't you visit the Hasunoha answering monks who live in Kanto one by one?

How can I meet a good mentor?
There is no choice but to go and search patiently. My grandfather was ready to study abroad, so I just used footwork.

How do I ask for it?
The easiest thing for both of us is to participate in an open space like a zazen session. For the most part, participants other than parishioners are welcome to attend such meetings, so if you sign up normally and participate normally, you can communicate naturally.
If you can go any further, you can make an appointment and meet up.

As you all say, limited to the pilgrimage

I also recommend that those who have participated in zazen sessions at my temple go on a tour of various zazen sessions.
They say let me know if there are any good zazen sessions, because I want to participate too.

Also, because of questions that cannot be solved by zazen meditation alone, we stay and have conversations after zazen meditation.
Depending on the situation, they do it while drinking tea or while drinking alcohol.

Various zazen sessions and religious activities are organized according to the individuality of the monks at the temple, not by denomination, so please go on foot.

In particular, I feel that all Hasunoha monks are highly conscious people, so I would like to refer to this site and visit from the neighborhood.
