What do monks think of us?

Why don't monks hold gatherings like Christians in the community?

To be honest, I think they are people who would be good if they were good.

In the past, past, and now, in a frivolous world, people who are serious even if they are clumsy, think without permission that they need sacred gatherings.

That's because I am like that.

At a difficult time, I thought I'd become a Christian even more.

My family once invited me to a sermon, and I was told nothing other than talking about money.

It's bothersome, so you don't care about us?

Do you think it would be more far-fetched to ask for a gathering that doesn't make money?

It's rude, but I wanted to listen to it for so long that I couldn't help but ask.

Please reply (>_<)

Shinshu Gathering

You mean you're looking for a Buddhist gathering.

Certainly, there may not be many people who gather at church every Sunday, as in Christianity, but I think there are quite a few places.

For example, the Jodo Shinshu values the Dharma, so there is a guide to the Dharma.

Why don't you listen to the Dharma at a temple near you?

With relationships from there, information on various gatherings may also be obtained.

It's a shame as a monk.

Suzuchi-san. I feel very sorry for Buddhism to have this kind of feeling. Freedom of religion is recognized by the Constitution of Japan, so I think it's okay to join Christianity. You don't have to stay attached to a religion that doesn't suit your feelings forever.
However, let me just make an excuse at the end. It means that there are also monks who take you seriously, like hasunoha. If you know the address of “monks” and “temples” to see if there are any registered monks in the Osaka suburbs, it's a good idea to visit them. I don't think it would be bad at all.
Why don't you take this opportunity to come into contact with various religions before entering Christianity? There are many others, such as Christianity, Islam, Shinto, the Jodo sect, the Jodo Shinshu sect, the Nichiren sect, the Ji sect, the Zen sect, etc. If you want to interact with each other, I think it's okay to attack from a class, study session, etc. If you get lost because there are so many, I recommend the “Buddhist Missionary Association.” I think it would be a good idea to search for it once, call and ask. It's a place where there are many opportunities to meet monks from the Buddhist sect, so I think I can meet Suzuchi's expectations a little bit.

It's a pity...

Suzuchi-sama
My name is Tetsuya Urakami from Nagomi-an, thank you for your support.

There are many temples that hold various gatherings, such as puja and shakai. Incidentally, at my hermitage, there is an event every Friday. I've only decided that the participation fee will be around 500 yen.

“Why don't monks hold gatherings like Christians in the community?” I mean, Suzuchi-san probably didn't see many temples, and they didn't gather at 1 or 2 temples nearby, right?

If that's the case, I feel sorry for the many monks who work so hard (T_T) don't say they get tired when they get on the train, so please expand your range a little and search. People in their 80s ride the train for over an hour every month for over an hour, and they bow their heads.

However, in Osaka, there is a system where people visit the house of parishioners once a month, called a moon visit, so there may be many temples that do not hold gatherings (they don't have time to open). But we'll go to your house, pray, and talk. I think this is also good for people, but what do you think?

Suzuchi-sama.

If you think of answering everyone's questions as a “gathering,” like hasunoha here,
I know I can respond to your unbelief, but what do you think?

Also, there are many temples all over the country that host various “Christian-like gatherings.”
How about doing research and turning it into luck?

The temple gate is always open

Let's say you want to be a first-class chef. You're going to want authentic flavors in your own way. Who would want to train on the board as a part-time worker at a gyudon restaurant?
It's probably going to be a bit of a cooking study, but it's enough to at least open the pouch with a kitchen knife in front of the ingredients for the gyudon that have already been seasoned at the factory.
Even though this is an age where you can get information about anything and everything with your fingertip smartphone, you won't be able to meet the real thing until you go out on your own.
Just like cooking, the boy is also in a pinch.
It's not about whether it's good to have a new year meal, whether it's good because you're famous, or if you're good because you have a great position. I have no choice but to determine for myself if it's real or not.
However, there are so many monks that they probably don't understand, so I recommend that you listen to the most infallible person as far as I know.
Originally, Buddhism is useful for each individual to gain enlightenment.
The level is that Osho, who has not attained enlightenment, has a lot of knowledge about Buddhism.
I think it's good to be keenly aware that “no matter how much knowledge you have, it won't save you for the rest of your life.”
No matter how much knowledge you gather about Buddhism, what relief can it be if you get angry, slipping, depressed right after. I used to gather only knowledge unnecessarily, but that changed when I met this teacher.
If it's Osaka, please refer to the following, throw everything away, and attend this Zen meeting with the highest priority.

Buddhism is not something that can be given. It's something you should discover from within. Things that can be used as clues to notice this are puja stories and propositions.
I didn't think the story was a Zen story or a Buddhist story,
Think of it as “my own explanation” and listen to it.
Once you know yourself, all your worries and problems will blow away.
