Anxiety about the civil service exam (job hunting)
I go to a vocational school where I want to become a police officer.
Apart from what I've discussed about my studies before, there are times when I feel uneasy. It's about sex (LGBT).
I think the physical gender and gender identity are probably women, but when I looked it up, I wonder if it's “X gender”... they have short hairstyles and like to wear boyish clothes, and I feel a little uncomfortable when they say things that are required of them as women, such as “look like a girl,” “because you're a girl...”, and “don't make a boyfriend.”
Even if you take the civil service exam, it is certain that you will be bound by the gender framework, and if you can pass the first exam, what should you do if you go to the second exam and come out at the time of the interview and get dropped, and there is also anxiety that even if you get a job offer without saying it, you won't be able to come out in the future and feel an inferiority complex.
Even if I look at local police websites, etc., there is nothing about sex listed, and there are topics that say “female police officers ~” in a big way, so I'm worried about which one it is after all.
It's hard to talk to my homeroom teacher, and even if I could say it, I don't think they would understand. But since it's something to do with the future, is it better to talk about it?
Also, should I consider other occupations?
I would be happy if you could give me some advice 🙇♂️
