This time, I'm leaving my sect (Jodo Shinshu) for a bit and writing from personal experience.
Even though I advanced to medical school for 5 years, I dropped out.
It's only been about two weeks since I entered medical school, and I felt “this isn't right for me.”
Even so, I did my best in desperation.
Another reason I dropped out of medical school was that I had a chronic illness and my physical condition was unstable.
However, I think my personal intuition that “fundamentally unsuitable for a doctor” was true in my case.
There are many people who enter medical school and feel “I'm not suited.”
Actually, it seems like my father didn't want to be a doctor either.
My father graduated from medical school and became a doctor, but it seemed very boring.
He eventually committed suicide.
Even I can't easily say “don't stop it.”
But I can't say “never stop and do your best.”
I think it's better to cherish your intuition at times like this.
Because, “it's a job I want to do!” or “I don't want to do this” is an emotion, isn't it?
Feelings cannot be triggered by themselves.
Even if you don't want to do that, it just happens without permission.
For example, it's like crying even if you don't want to cry.
It's an unanswered answer, right?
I can't give you an answer.
However, I think I was able to share my question with you.
