I want to enter the Buddha's path

I'm sorry over and over again.

You won't be able to overcome the trials that come one after another.

In this day and age, we can't even die.

Physical, social issues, and relationships.
Hard work is also limited.
It's insurmountable.

What should I do to get away from the world and “live” quietly?

When I go to a temple, etc., it makes my mind feel at ease for a while.

It looks easy. I'm not saying that.
There are so many things I can't hold on.

I want to live a quiet, careful life without being misled.

I want to follow the Buddha's path

I began to think so.
Is it possible to aim for Buddhism even if you are sick?
What should I do?

A path that is in the world and not buried in the world

I read your consultation.

You're facing a lot of problems and suffering, aren't you?

Certainly, there are cases where a temple can be used as a temporary escape. If you're looking for one, I think there are a few temples like that.

However, temples are not “sanctuaries” forever away from such suffering.
No matter where you are, even within a temple, there are human relationship issues, and I think there are also social issues that come to light only because you are at a temple.

Entering the Buddha's path is not about living quietly away from such a world

A path that is in the world and is not buried in the world, yet never leaves the world (Ukiyo-tei)

I think so.
There is no problem even with a sick body. The desire to “live carefully” is probably important.

There is no Buddhism apart from your worries. I don't think my mind will stop being misled. I think it's a path where you can live even though it confuses your heart.

Therefore, you can aspire to Buddhism whether you are at a temple or at home.

But is it necessary to calm down from the current situation first?

Is there a family temple? Is there a temple nearby? Why don't you get in touch and then ask about the story?
It might be a good idea to look at various questions and answers here and choose a sect that suits your skin from the monks that suit your senses.

Please become a monk

I read it. It's very difficult for you to live in this world, isn't it?
Yes. This world is dirty. Desire is rampant.
If it seems like that, abandon the world, in other words, there is a way to advance in the career and become a monk.
Temples have been a place of worship for a long time. Also, a monk originally abandons his home, abandons his family, abandons his last name, and becomes a monk.
If that is what you want, I think you should become a monk and learn Buddhism.
If there is a chief priest of the family temple, a nearby temple, or a sect that knocks on the gate for you to learn, be sure to try it out.
I sincerely pray that you will learn Buddhism properly from now on and live a rich life every day.

Do you want to become a monk, or are you going to live as a disciple at home?

Since Jodo Shinshu does not practice any ascetic practices other than praising the nembutsu of Namu Amida Buddha, you can become a nembutsu practitioner regardless of whether you have the qualification of a monk or not.

Does wanting to enter the Buddha's path mean I want to become a monk?

If that is the case, I can answer the procedures, methods, etc. in the case of the Shinshu Otani school.
(possible or not possible, too)

I think it's a good idea to aim for Buddhism.

I read the documents, but what if you first buy a familiar Buddhist book, read it, and then aim for Buddhism? Suffering is inevitable in life, so I think we have no choice but to accept it as it is. Gassho
