Buddha... this is a question that doesn't have much of a show

Hasunoha books are placed in the living room. What kind of questions would you ask yourself while looking at Hasunoha books in casual conversations with children? I wonder if it's okay to ask such careless questions? There is a child who is muttering, “Buddha looks like a type B”... I'm sorry. I was wondering how a monk would answer a question from a child who didn't have much of a show. Ahead of university entrance exams, textbooks on Japanese history and ethics every night ✏ so hard, is it soft once in a while? I tried to respond to this question, “Isn't it like type AB?” I just answered that. It is said that Japanese people are too particular about blood types, but in terms of type, there are also situations where people think that they somehow have an all blood type... Speaking of which, my zazen friends I attend are all type O, and all 3 people I talk to... are type B. It's just a coincidence, but... at the end of the day, isn't there something different that is thicker than blood flowing through the body when the child Buddha is? ... and it was a question that didn't have much of a show. It's like this, but good luck to children taking general entrance exams for Buddhist universities! Yes (/-\ *) I want to be able to talk more deeply while enjoying the conversation between parents and children at Hasunoha. Questioner: Male 18 years old... whispering

Versatile

I read it. I see, the Buddha is a person who preaches against chance. Since they explain the truth, the way everyone can be saved, in various ways, I think it is a versatile type that applies to people with any personality that fits any blood type.
Incidentally, I don't really trust blood type fortune-telling. The reason is that humans can't be classified so easily. Their births, upbringing, and historical backgrounds are different, so it's not that easy to classify them by type. How about it?

Blood type and personality don't matter, but it's interesting to imagine

Good evening. Thank you for purchasing the Hasunoha book.

Blood type and personality shouldn't be related at all, but Japanese people like blood type fortune telling (laughs)
Incidentally, it seems that only Japanese people believe in blood type fortune telling.

Well, it's interesting to imagine Buddha's personality by comparing it to a blood type fortune.
If it's “type B,” is it something creative and self-paced? My son probably felt that way when he saw Buddha's thoughts and way of life.
I was wondering if you were an “AB type.” Do you have an image of a highly sensitive, dual personality? Speaking of which, it seems that it is said that Jesus Christ may have been type AB.
I wonder if I'm a “type A” who is serious and careful? I thought so.

It might be related

Since everything is directly and indirectly connected, blood type may also be slightly related to personality.
The Buddha is probably type B. Otherwise, you won't be able to leave your assets and family behind and go on an ascetic trip.
So maybe type B people are suited to meditate.
I'm type O, so that's why I can't continue my ascetic practice or meditation.
However, it is not possible to strictly follow rules such as precepts like type A people.
I don't have a memory like a type A person, and it's hard to remember sutras.
However, I keep thinking that I'm glad it was a Jodo sect that just chants Namu Amida Buddha and Nembutsu.
Thanks to Amida's guidance. I appreciate it.

Please do your best to study for the entrance exam.

Thank you for your important question.

There is no statistical or scientific basis for the method of classifying personalities and others by blood type. It's like group hypnosis. It's still better to classify and determine personalities by zodiac sign or prefecture of origin, just because they have more parameters. (Of course they're both out, just in case.)

In the work “Buddha” by Tezuka Osamu, which boldly arranges the life of the Buddha while relying on biographies, etc., there is a scene where the Buddha instructs and transfuses blood to people who don't have enough blood. That's true in that scene, and in reality, everyday life (?) The only problem with blood is almost “whether or not it solidifies when mixed.” Also, it is a myth that it is better to know blood types on a regular basis for blood transfusions. When a blood transfusion is necessary, it is always checked on the spot, so there is no problem at all even if you don't know it beforehand.

Regarding the unfounded nature of the blood type “diagnosis,” in response to the fact that my friend's seminar professor gave a harsh answer to the on-campus questionnaire, “Isn't that too much to say because it's fun?” I thought about it and started doing a lot of research, and on the other hand, I came to know a lot, starting with the fact that that offensive way of saying it wasn't too much at all. I was surprised.

Note, in the opposite direction from this question, there are probably discriminatory elements in saying things about people's personalities based on blood type, so please be careful. The reason is that decisions are based on things you cannot change on your own. (Blood type may change due to bone marrow transplantation, etc., but it is not something you can change because you want to change it.)

As for the unfounded nature of personality classification by blood type, it is best to listen to a psychological expert, not a blood type diagnosis expert. In the book

Sato Tatsuya Watanabe Yoshiyuki
“Why can't you change
“Personality changes with “mode” is a tricky way to use psychology”
Chikuma Bunko

I think it's a good idea to refer to things like that.

(Isn't that too monk-like? answer? It may have become.)

Characteristics of the Buddha

Hello, Mokkuu-san.

That's a great question. I see. It's not a weird question. I'm envious of being able to think from that point of view. Flexibility of mind is probably important for studying Buddhism.

Thanks to Teba Tatata (?) So, it is certain that Buddha also has blood.
But ABO blood type is probably an eternal mystery. Even if the remains exist, it would be difficult to collect genes since they have been scattered (laughs). But the probability is 1/4. No, for some reason, there are 40% of Indian people with type B, which is double that of Japanese people, so there may be many cases where type B falls under type B.

Even though it explains the characteristics of the Buddha, there is a teaching called “32 phases, 80 types of good.” The fact that there is no classification for blood here means that blood type has nothing to do with attaining Buddhism (laughs). There are probably characteristics of blood types, and the Buddha probably transcends the personality characteristics of the mind (laughs).

If you read 32 phase, are there people like this? It's pretty interesting, so be sure to look it up on the internet. Gassho
