Why shouldn't we use cannabis?

I have a question about cannabis. I have a lazy personality, and until now I've left everything to the flow. No matter how important it is, I procrastinate when I feel stressed, but when I think about what happened after procrastinating, I felt stressed and pressured again, and I always repeated the same thing. Other than being lazy, I'm suitable; I wasn't immersed in my hobbies, and when I was alone, I was usually just dazed. So I didn't understand the meaning of stress relief, and I was just trying to forget the bad things.

And recently, I've been feeling more stressed since entering college than before. As my busy days at university weighed on me more and more, my stress grew proportionately.

My friend recommended cannabis to me when I was beginning to feel limited by the stress that builds up every day. I'm easily swept away by people, so I started smoking cannabis, hoping it would be just a little bit. I knew cannabis was illegal, but I was drawn more and more into the appeal of cannabis. There wasn't much fun in my life, and I felt so much joy even though my stress was relieved when I was high. However, I didn't feel that I was dependent on cannabis myself, and I was able to control my own consumption.

However, as soon as I started smoking cannabis, the university became more and more neglected. I started skipping college, and my grades dropped to some extent. Realizing that, I had a sense of crisis and began to reduce the frequency of smoking cannabis. I also stopped skipping school, and my grades improved to some extent, but I couldn't stop smoking cannabis. I myself didn't feel that cannabis was dangerous, and I thought that would be fine if I could balance school and cannabis.

When the balance between school and cannabis began to go well, my parents discovered that I was smoking cannabis. My parents are so angry that they don't listen to my opinions at all. I never took drugs other than cannabis, and I understood the safety of cannabis and used it.

I found something I thought was fun for the first time in my life, and it's disappointing that my parents completely rejected it. Certainly, cannabis is illegal in many countries, and I know that there are various prejudices because of that, but since there are countries and regions where cannabis is legal, even though a certain level of safety is guaranteed, are parents right to ignore it and criticize it? Or is it no good if it's still illegal? I look forward to hearing from you.

Precepts and Parental Feelings

If you think about whether cannabis is good or bad “legally,” there's a point in what you say.

This is because, as you said, there are countries where it is legal.
If you do cannabis in a country where it is legal, it won't be illegal.
So I wonder if it's okay because it's legal...

In that case, if there is a country where murder is legal, murder is not illegal either.

In fact, murders between nations are being waged as wars.
If a country is good, it means it's okay to kill people from other countries.
Japan has also made such mistakes.
Similarly, in polygamous countries, it's not a bad thing to have a lot of wives.

In other words, there are many mistakes in “laws” made by humans.
It's not necessarily correct.

This is because people are “ignorant,” so they are fundamentally ignorant and cannot see the true truth.

Judging is not what the law is, but what “precepts” are in terms of Buddhism.
Narcotics are prohibited by the precepts, so cannabis is useless.

If I had to say one more thing from a different point of view
My heart breaks when I think about the parents' shock, anger, and sadness when they learn that their son uses cannabis.

It says “I found something fun for the first time in my life,” but is that really true?

Do you really feel that cannabis, which only gives a moment of pleasure, is fun from the bottom of your heart?

And haven't you really had any fun in your life until now?

Didn't your parents give you lots of things that you thought were fun since you were little?

Didn't we go to the beach or the mountains together? Didn't we play games together?
Didn't you get a present for your birthday or Christmas?

Please seriously think about the feelings of your parents who raised you until now because they want to see your happy face. Senryu

This is because it is prohibited in Japan.

Cannabis is less harmful than tobacco, and there are many countries around the world that recognize it.

It's extreme, but...
Alcohol, like cannabis, is a type of drug.

The reason why it's prohibited isn't clear, so it's questionable.

Then why is it bad?
That's because the country prohibits it.

Alcohol is legal and cannabis is illegal in Japan.
However, there are countries where cannabis is legal and alcohol is prohibited.

That's all.
But don't underestimate it.

If you had Singapore, you would be put to death.

Unfortunately, there is no point in objecting to something prohibited by an individual.

Maybe cannabis saved Takashi's feelings.
However, there are rules for living as a group.

People around you walk away even through only your own assertions, such as “even though it's an orthodox argument” or “you're harming people, right?”
It's lonely, but...

Did you watch celebrities who made a fuss with drugs on TV last year?
There must have been so many things I wanted to say.

But I have no choice but to shut up and bow my head.

That's why people who break the rules can say anything.

I have a feeling that my parents are foolishly denying it, but that's natural.
There's no reason you want to turn your son into a criminal.

No matter where in the world is cannabis smoked, no matter how safe it is, well...

It's no good!

Please stop it firmly

I read it. Regarding your opinion, I still don't think it's OK even if there is a legal country.
For some reason, cannabis only has a hallucinogenic effect, and that's because it's an illusion. Because that's not true happiness. This is because it leads to an escape from reality in life and distort living properly. And that's because it's addictive and you won't be able to stop.
It's a world of sickness, so it ruins everyone's lives.
Please stop it firmly. In reality, there is so much joy, so much sadness, and so much emotion.
You will continue to grow from now on. Please do your best in real life. I'm rooting for you!

It's illegal in Japan

If you think cannabis is good, I recommend moving to a country where it is legal. At least it's illegal in Japan. Apart from whether it's good or bad.
If you're in Japan, you have no choice but to stop.
It's up to you to decide. There are also countries where alcohol and tobacco, which are legal in Japan, are also illegal.
I hope that after thorough research, the decision will be made after careful consideration of what country and what I can do.
