On enlightenment.

Spirituality has become established, and I think people who are not Buddhists are spreading their own teachings on blogs etc. on themes such as “how to attain enlightenment.”
I wonder if that is enlightenment in Buddhism, but I don't even know what the original enlightenment is.
What kind of state does attaining enlightenment in Buddhism refer to?
Also, how do you feel about people who are not Buddhists spreading their own teachings about enlightenment?

An easy-to-understand scholar book

Books such as “Stairway to Enlightenment: The Structure of Enlightenment Revealed by Therawada Buddhism” (Sangha Shinsho) by Akira Fujimoto are reasonably priced (950 yen), and I think they are written in an easy-to-understand manner.

When it comes to right now, also Dr. Fujimoto's

Please read etc.

Dr. Fujimoto is the chief priest of Seikyo-ji Temple in Yamaguchi Prefecture. They are people you can easily get in touch with on the internet, so I recommend that you ask this person.

What is enlightenment

Enlightenment probably refers to a world away from thought, where the existence of oneself has completely disappeared. That said, it's not another world, and I think it exists right here where we live now.

Even if you're not a Buddhist, you may be able to attain enlightenment. I think it's not a religion, but rather a simple matter of finding the way humans live and be.

But I don't think lying is good. I don't think you should say you've realized something even though you haven't. I don't think it's allowed to mislead people and sometimes use it as a tool to make money.

What is enlightenment

In the Rinzai sect, there is a person named Yamamoto Genpo Roshi who is very famous as a great Zen master in the early Showa period, and after this person's death, there is a book called “Reminiscence Yamamoto Genpo,” edited by Tamaki Benkichi, and Shunjusha 1970, in which related people contributed and collected lecture recordings.
Among them, an anecdote of a lecture by Nakagawa Munebuchi Roshi, who is the heir of Genpo Roshi, talks about the first generation of Genpo Roshi at Zensei-an in Yanaka, Tokyo shortly after the transfer of Genpo Roshi, but among them, an anecdote about when Genpo Roshi followed the law from Sansho Sobanroshi and obtained certification of approval at Enpukuji in Yawata is published in 146P.

Here, Master Nakagawa Sobuchi says the following about enlightenment.
“Nothing, that's not the end of the training, but this is proof that no matter where you go or where you roll, you can continue to practice alone.” and.

My son has since agreed that enlightenment in Buddhism is like this.

A fun “enlightenment.”

Enlightenment in Buddhism refers to a state of “nirvana,” which is a state where the fire of worry has been blown out.

How can we reach that situation?

Everything is “impermanent,” so they say don't get attached to things,
“Not being attached” is more difficult than you might imagine.

So I'm not Buddhist, and I'll just state my personal opinion.

For me, “Buddhism” means reducing worries in life even a little,
I think it's an “academic discipline” where people can spend their time feeling peaceful.

Improve yourself through ascetic practice, get rid of your obsession,
Reducing suffering and getting closer to “enlightenment” is also one way to live a happy life,
I think that while doing something fun, the state of concentration is close to “enlightenment.”

If you don't get attached to things, you won't suffer,
There's no need to throw away even fun things by not getting attached.

When I'm concentrating on reading an interesting book, etc.
I also think it can be called a state of “enlightenment.”
I can't believe I can forget about time and immerse myself in things
It must be a trouble-free, happy time.

Liberation from all thoughts

Humans are always creating thought bubbles.
I'm looking at the world through a bubble of thought.
I don't even notice that what I'm doing now is creating a bubble of thought.
Even people who have realized or are aware don't realize that what they are dealing with is a world of thought bubbles after all.
So what should we do for enlightenment?
If you leave this bubble of thought alone, it will naturally burst.
A lot of people try to break this bubble with their thoughts, so Pon Pon Awawa comes out and it's amazing.
The desire to get rid of the bubble is also awful, because it's a bubble.
When you can really leave it alone without even thinking about erasing it,
The bubbles will be squishy, and it really only comes down to facts.
Eventually, my consciousness of calling myself who I am will also become clear, and I will not be aware of it either.
The only thing there is is a fact.
It is a peaceful mind away from the wisdom of recognition, discernment, and analysis.
“Becoming” once or twice is an experience everyone has.
Coming back isn't enlightenment.
Enlightenment is rather the entrance. I'm proud that without the “abbot,” I ate something delicious once.
Once you've reached a delicious heart, “How is it actually for you now?” That's it.
In Zenmon, enlightenment is “reflection.” It's a momentary effect that leads to complacency, selflessness, and selflessness, and later on, realizing “Oh, my thoughts were interrupted over there.”
The rest is Sanmaji, Nirvana, and life after enlightenment, and people who practice with that heart, so they are residents, guardians, and quiet people.
That is the certification. Also, since it is an easy life away from thoughts, it is a life of “recklessness.”
When you get away from your mind and live in facts, there are no private opinions there.
Everyone does things like enlightenment comparisons through thought.
That's why I'm doing it wisely while saying I've realized it, so I shut up, shut up, became quiet! It's like talking while saying that it's not quiet.
The words you don't understand are just the words of the same guessman as a scholar.
Therefore, they are sad delusiasts where neither themselves nor their opponents can be saved, they are unable to actually demonstrate that kind of power, and they are not saved, let alone others.
Delusional people who are a little more clever are admirable because I don't think they can stay like this.
An enlightened person can make a person enlightened.
Without it, it would be a self-reliant idea of enlightenment, a Buddhist thought, and there would be no translation.
