How to learn Buddhism... and tell me about the costs

My only son committed suicide at the young age of 33.
I blamed myself for not having been born, my son wouldn't have been born into this world, and of course I wouldn't have committed suicide,
I was searching for the foundation of my heart.
My father was originally an avid follower of the Jodo Shinshu sect, so I am interested in Buddhism
I had it. At that time, a leaflet for the Jodo Shinshu Buddhism course was in the mail
It was in.
There was only one free admission, so I went there, but if you get a donation, do it once or twice a month, and want to learn more about Buddhism
I was recommended to become a Shinran student. It was said that a membership fee of 3,000 yen with an enrollment fee of 50,000 yen was required for that.
If it's an offering, you can do it of your own free will as a reward, but I'm not convinced that it's decided to be 3,000 yen per month.
It's difficult to go to a Buddhist course once or twice a month, so how
I would like to ask if I should study Buddhism and whether the enrollment fees and membership fees for Shinran students are appropriate.

Central Buddhist Academy Correspondence Education

If you want to learn the teachings of the Jodo Shinshu sect, I recommend distance learning at the Central Buddhist Academy.
Whether or not the tuition fees are reasonable is my personal opinion, but the instructors are all correct, so I can learn well.
There is also schooling, and even after graduation, you can interact on a regular basis.
Please consider it.

The nearest temple of the Tokyo Diocese Saitama Group

I don't want to say anything about other groups, but if you think it's strange, I don't think you should get involved.

Now, since it's called the Jodo Shinshu sect, I'll introduce the site of a temple group (called Saitama Group) in Saitama prefecture with the same Honganji school (Nishi Honganji) as me. Please contact the nearest one or the temple where the temple or chief priest seems attractive.

Basically, when listening to a puja at a temple, you won't be asked for an offering or anything other than your feelings (textbook fees are not included). Please don't worry.

If you don't understand after looking at the site, please ask at Tsukiji Honganji Temple (03-3541-1131).

I think I understand the question of how to learn Buddhism very well, but I think the best way to learn is to have a relationship with a temple you can trust. If you read a good looking book and borrow it from the library, it doesn't cost any money. What I would definitely recommend as a good book is the work of Zenmonshu Otani Mitsuma. The content is easy to understand and resonates with everyone.

I think it's painful to have lost your precious son.

It is said that they want to learn Buddhism in connection with that,
I am very thankful for that.

Now, about suicide,
There was a gathering of families who died by suicide hosted by a monk,
It is held every month at Tsukiji Honganji Temple.

Monks from various denominations are participating,
From being directly talked to a monk
I think it's okay to get started.
