My favorite aunt has changed

I'm worried about my neighbors who have been on good terms with my family since I was a kid, or rather, I can't do anything, but it's painful because I have no place to express my feelings.
I would appreciate it if you could just read it.

That person (let's say Mr. A) was being treated at home for terminal cancer, my husband wasn't divorced, and my child got married and couldn't go home, so I was doing what I could to help with my family.

Gradually, they began to be asked to buy things over the phone, and even after that, they bought what they were asked for, and accompanied them to hospitals when they were sick.

However, recently there has been an increase in content saying that there are people who don't have Mr. A and did things they didn't do, so when I looked it up, I was convinced that terminal cancer has symptoms similar to dementia called delirium
It escalated steadily, and in fact, it seems that the family originally had rants (this was also shocking...), but it seems that they have recently started rants against everyone.

Around that time, my family asked me to do something I just couldn't do, so when I told them why I couldn't do it, they said “it's useless because there are only excuses” and “you guys aren't very useful, you don't need to come,” and it became difficult to go.

According to what I hear from the family and medical staff who are acquaintances of my mother, it seems that people who seem to be acquaintances of Mr. A (let's say Mr. B and C) go to the house regardless of the time and take care of them from beginning to end since the rant started getting worse.
Once, I also saw Mr. B and Mr. C at Mr. A's house, but they didn't like getting their greetings back and I was scared and stared at me, so I don't like them, so I don't think I want to meet them.

It seems that Mr. A trusts only Mr. B and Mr. C, and they entrust the management of money,
The child interacts with B and C and it is determined that they are looking for property, and even if they tell them that there is such a possibility, Mr. A doesn't listen and the child couple and their bride go on such terrible rants, so it seems that they don't want to get involved anymore because they don't need an inheritance etc.

Even if I'm being scammed by any chance, I can't do anything unless you or your family are in trouble, and it makes my teeth ache that I can't do anything even though I'm close,
I'm so sad to think that I won't be able to meet the kind old lady who I was good with even before I was able to remember.

It ended up being a long, disorganized sentence...
Thank you very much for taking the time to read it.

If you are kind and keep an eye on Mr. A

Hello Futaba-san at the beginning, I read a document full of your kindness. Neighbor A is worried, isn't he? If the cancer is terminal, such a thing might happen. The same was true for the parishioners. It's about Mr. B and Mr. C, but originally it would be best if the child was asked to be an adult guardian by a lawyer or someone and asked to manage the money, but if the child himself doesn't want it, there may be nothing you can do about that, including you. Also, Mr. B and Mr. C probably think that even if it is for property purposes, they are people A can rely on (of course, even if it's a misunderstanding) even if they can't make a normal decision. In other words, it may be said that they are necessary evil people for Mr. A now. Either way, as long as your child doesn't move, there may be nothing you can do about it. Speaking of strong people, I think civilian workers are coming, so why don't you talk to that person and ask them to work with the government? If it is recognized that Mr. A cannot make a normal judgment in the nursing care diagnosis, it may move. Also, speaking of what is close to the worst, if Mr. B.C is looking for money, he probably won't be able to get close to it when his assets run out. At that time, why don't you watch over Mr. A to the extent you can? Of course, they are still being watched over and worried in this way. My teeth are itchy, but I think that's all I can do. But there will always come a time when Mr. A will notice that kindness.

If nothing can be done, nothing can be done.

You're a kind person. I'm worried about Mr. A, who isn't even my family, and it seems like they have feelings for him...
But even with parents and siblings, there are times when things don't work. What's more, you don't seem to be a relative, so in conclusion, you can only look at it from a distance. It's sad, and it's probably painful, but “what can't be done can't be done.”
However, if Mr. B and C are close by for “money purposes,” and if the child is aware of it and says “I don't want to get involved anymore because I don't need an inheritance, etc.,” then they should legally consider an “adult guardianship” system. If you can talk to Mr. A's child, please give them some advice. You should consult at the government office or “Law Terrace.”
People who approach you for money say “goodbye” when they run out of money, and in the end, it's Mr. A and the children who are in trouble...
Either way, there's a “limit” to what you can do, and it's not your fault either. Please watch over them quietly from a distance.
Finally, Mother Teresa's words... ❝ The opposite of love is not hate. I'm indifferent ❞

With the intention of returning the favor

I read it. It's really unfortunate, because that person is probably someone you have an important relationship with.
Illness changes people. It's not that person's fault, is it?
After all, if it's the current situation, I think we should contact the child and consult with them, and use the adult guardianship system as Master Otsuka said.
The child and the court and legal affairs bureau, which are public institutions, are involved, and I think appropriate procedures should be taken taking into account the current situation of that person.
All of my money and assets were lost later, and there was nothing to be done about it, then I would be in real trouble.
In reality, there are scams and crimes like that.
Appropriate response is desired as soon as possible.
It's a relationship with someone special, so I think it's good to do what you can do for them.
Why don't you take care of them, including returning the favor up until now.
