names

My name is my older brother, who was a kindergarten kid, and he said it would be nice to have the same name as his girlfriend's. The kanji for that name was thought up by a city hall employee. After all, I am that kind of person. Nowadays, it's a world where people think hard about pet names, isn't it? People all over Japan think about pandas at zoos. I am less than an animal.

A great diamond before a name

It's neither above nor below ^ ^
In the old days, everyone had an appropriate name. It was decided that the man was Taro and the woman was Hanako.
More than that, everything that comes before your name is your existence, and you can change your name, but this body lasts a lifetime.
The fact that it exists there now is more precious than anything else. No matter what anyone says, you're living well. It's a natural diamond.

That way of life makes your name shine

I don't know Pyonko-san's name, but I'm sure it's a wonderful name. I think it's because of the exchange of posts and answers that it really is like a lotus flower. They are trying to take care of themselves in a harsh environment without being crushed by it, not being abandoned. Also, they have a sense of refinement and honesty. I think she's a very nice woman. So I think that name is also a wonderful name. Names don't make people shine; their personality and way of life make their names shine. So I think Pyonko-san's name is surely a wonderful and sparkling thing, and the person who makes that name shine is not your parents, your older brother, but yourself. Speaking of names, many of the old names were unique; bear, tiger, tetsu (they are all women), and by the way, my mother was a kura.

Your name doesn't determine your life

I think it was over 10 years, but there was a project called “Name Loser King Decision Battle” in the section of the Tonneruzu Paraetey program. There were self-recommendations and others from general viewers, and people with names that seemed admirable at first glance, people with the same first and last name as manga heroes, and people with the same surname and same name as beautiful actresses appeared. It just so happened that when I saw it, I remember that a little old man named “rich man,” a thin young man called “Hoshitobi Yuma,” an old lady named “Miyazawa Rie,” and an ordinary office worker named “Ishibashi Takaaki” appeared. Even with names that look great on the sidelines, I think they treated the gap between the image of that name and my real self in a funny way as a variety show.

There are more than a few people with the same first and last name in the world. Even if the image or character that comes from the name is good, the human content does not necessarily match that image. Even if they have the same first and last name, the contents of each human being are different, aren't they?

There are also people who rely on “name judgment” as a methodology for naming names. There are also people whose methodology is to search for vocabulary from history books, philosophical books, religious books, etc., and name them. Even if you believe in a fortune telling and give it a name, you won't be able to carve out your life with the power of that name. Even if you use vocabulary related to history, philosophy, and religion in the name, I think there are people who meet the expectations put into the name, and there are also people who end up with the sign falling down. Whether it's food or an industrial product, I think naming is important when selling it as a product. But even if you just give it an elaborate name, the question is whether the content is good or bad. The label called the name is also important, but I think the good or bad content is even more important than that.

My older brother, who was a kindergarten kid, should be with his girlfriend's name

There seems to be dissatisfaction with that reason. However, I think both Pyonko's older brother and Pyonko's parents had a good impression of how that name sounded, so they selected them as candidates for the name. Also, I think it was a final decision on what character to choose while listening to the opinions of those around them. From my point of view, it seems like a way to decide to feel love for Pyonko.

What is important

I read it.
Animals don't feel at all no matter how wonderful names they are given.
What's more, even if my name is called, I hardly understand it, and I don't know what it means.
It's a world where names have little value in the animal world.
That Banda kid at Ueno Zoo probably doesn't think about her existence or name at all, and it doesn't matter to her.
However, what is important to that panda cub is probably the mother, and the people who take care of that child.

You are important to who you are. That's because you know you exist.
