About hell

Thank you m () m

I'm also reading books about near-death experiences
I also watch it on the internet

What do you think about hell?

I want there to be a hell

Don't worry about suffering people in the world
There are people who are fine

It really is the devil itself

I don't understand

Extreme stories are terrorists, etc.
People from Islamic countries, etc.

Being able to do such a cruel thing without worry
I really can't believe it

People who have been fine with that kind of thing
it's impossible not to be judged
I think

Even though they're the same person
How can such a thing be done

If I do something wrong
I hope they should definitely be rewarded

Because no human being is perfect
Some evil is unavoidable

not at that level

I already said “I want to die”
It's like shaking that person down

It's a scam or a thief
It's a feeling for people who did not mind suffering

Murder is a pretty serious crime
I think

However, I saw it on the internet

Hell doesn't exist

Everyone goes to heaven

No matter how bad a person has done

It said I'm going to heaven

(I believe in the world after death and heaven

(It is said that hell doesn't exist)

Look at what it says

There's no such reason!! with

I thought, I'm not convinced

In the book I'm currently reading (it's a near-death experience book, it's Carl Becker's book) (I'm still reading it)

It was written that hell exists
(People who have experienced near-death have seen it)

There are people who look like demons

that person? by

I was tortured there

There were people who were suffering

It says

It's grotesque

To people who have done a lot of bad things

I think they should be judged like this

I think!!

What do monks think?

Thank you for your support

I wonder if there is a hell in this world

I believe Buddhism is a teaching of forgiveness. The teaching that any person can be saved, the teaching that even if they make mistakes can be saved, everyone can be saved.

People suffer as they live, even if they don't take the form of punishment or hell. By killing people, you will have to endure darkness and suffer for the rest of your life. It's like stealing people's things, killing people, and they're suffering quite a bit at this point. We have fallen into a world of suffering where we are unable to make normal decisions.

The Buddhist way of life is that you don't even have a heart to discourage people, and you don't need to have one. Right and wrong are created with human thoughts and yardsticks, and this person is probably not such a small thing as whether they should go to hell or be saved.

There is a situation before people think. They are probably living while working on a cosmic scale. It's not the center of the human mind. You won't know until you die in Hell and Paradise. However, in Buddhism, hell is a state of suffering in this world. And the act of being saved from there is called attaining Buddhism.
It's too late to become a Buddha after death, isn't it? The Buddha was the one who practiced asceticism because he wanted to be saved while living.

We also want to walk the path that Buddha noticed and live our lives.

Everyone has a different way of thinking about hell, so I think you should believe what you believe without going right or left in other people's opinions.
Incidentally, I think there will be a hellish reward. There is no basis. However, since this world is causal retaliation, I think there will be some kind of reward for those who have done bad things someday.
However, if you just think that you should go to hell for others who did bad things right now, then your heart has already fallen into the hell of your heart, so I think it's a good idea to concentrate on yourself without worrying too much about others. There's also a saying, pretend to be someone else and pretend to be yourself.
By the way, the Buddha accepts any bad person in an attempt to save them. That's why I believe in Amitabha. I just pray that people who have done bad things can meet the Buddha someday.
Note, in terms of Buddhism, it is comparable to killing people, and killing insects and animals is also bad. We also have to think carefully about that.

People in hell do evil, so do activities that don't cause any more evil.

※This content is for the questioner only.
☞ (°D.) The phrase “you're already dead” became popular.
There is an implication that “you've already died as a person.”
It's probably only when people walk the path of a person that they live as people.
When you step out of the way of others and commit misdeeds, that person is not a person; they are no longer a person.
In other words, when you do an evil act, untouchable evil recompense due to the past or background has already occurred on that person, and they have committed an evil act.
They are each subject to “sanctions” by law and country by people who cannot allow it. Japan has social sanctions based on the internet. People who have committed misdeeds have their families and even relatives disclosed it on the internet and are subject to “social death sanctions” even after that.
What you are saying is probably your feeling that you “cannot forgive” as your personal feeling.
The sanctions you want are probably that person should die, hurt, or suffer, but isn't that heart close to hell?
In fact, cases where people who have killed their families are shot and killed in retaliation are common overseas, but people who have handed down personal judgments are also punished again by it, and they are far from being mentally happy.
Hell in Buddhism indicates that humans are possessed by an evil heart, suffer, and become mad, in an inhumane state of mind.
Since everyone's heart falls into that kind of living hell, hell world, don't you think the number of people full of mercy and love should increase even more in order to stop people from creating vicious misdeeds in this world before they become Mad people with cruelty like terrorists or the Islamic State?

Retaliatory sanctions only make you feel refreshed. The world isn't getting better. Evil will not decrease either. Shouldn't you also do activities to activate good bacteria to make this world better? War is unforgivable in this world. However, if we assume that there is only one war that can be forgiven, no one will shed blood, and no one will be hurt. In other words, it's not a war or conflict. Peace activities, religious activities. Conquering people who do war and misdeeds without killing or harming them would be religious activities, acts of peace, and activities to revitalize good bacteria.
Your attitude is contentious. Rather, I would like to ask you to help fix the world by activating good bacteria in this world.

That person is not a devil

Hello, Reika-san
Before thinking about “hell” in Buddhism, I'll talk about 10 parallel worlds including hell

First, as Reiko knows very well, we are human beings living in the human world (human world).
Similarly, demons live in the world called Hell.

There are other worlds. There are 10 types in total. Therefore, it is called the “Ten Realms.”

Hell... a state tormented by all kinds of fears.
Gaki-kai... a state of hungry ghosts clinging to the events at hand.
Animal Realm... a state of acting according to animal instincts.
Shura... a state of not having conversation and aiming for a solution with “military force.”
The human world... a state of normal mind.
Heaven... a state where you can feel various “joys.”
The audiovisual world... a state of learning Buddhism, etc.
Enkakkai... a state of self-conscious enlightenment due to being associated with Buddhism.
The Bodhisattva world... a state of acting as a Buddha's messenger.
The Buddhist world... a state of attaining enlightenment.

(For an explanation of the Ten Realms, I referred to Wikipedia in consideration of fairness)

Are we humans born in the celestial world or in the Buddhist world after death due to good or bad deeds during our lifetime
It will decide whether to go to hell. In other words, leave the human world and go to another world.
This is why “leaving this world” is expressed as “passing away”

Let me get back to the main subject.

Reika-san is in the middle of a question
“There are people in the world who can torment people without worry; it's just the devil itself.”
That's what you said. Certainly, that is the case. But that person isn't a devil.
We are human beings in the human world.

So how should we accept misdeeds that are “the devil itself”? is
Please take a close look at the Wikipedia wording. It is no longer in the world

Actually, there are two interpretations of the Ten Realms.
① A different world and a way of looking at it, and
② It's our moment-to-moment state of mind and way of looking at it.

About the 6 kinds of worlds
Squid is hell
Musabo (Musabo) is a hungry demon
Is () a bastard
Tengoku (Tengoku) Naruha Shura
Happy is heaven
Peace becomes a person. There is a word

With the human world as a normal mind, the top as the best Buddhist world, and the bottom as the worst hell society,
The Ten Realms line up in our hearts.

And depending on the occasion, we get angry, happy, and think and act in line with the Ten Realms. Making this world hell and making it into the Buddhist world is one of our intentions

It became quite a complicated story...
Please listen to the answers of other monks

What happens if you do evil?

Here are some of the Buddha's words.

“Don't belittle good. Even a drop of water eventually fills a water bottle. Then good people are eventually filled with happiness.”
“Don't belittle evil. As a small evil, drop by drop of water eventually fills a bottle, if it piles up and piles up, people will eventually experience suffering.”
“Even if you do evil, that karma (karma) doesn't solidify as quickly as freshly squeezed milk. It clings to a fool's body like a flame wrapped in ashes and bothers that person.”

I've introduced a few, but if you look at other words, etc., I think that there are good causes, good effects, and bad causes and bad effects.
Also, it seems that there are several time lags before the fruit comes, and it seems that there are cases where the results come right away, and there are also things that appear as fruit after quite some time has passed.

So even though they are doing evil, that person is socially successful... is a judgment based on human time. Why don't you make yourself think about being careful so that you don't have to pay a terrible price eventually?
