5 billion years from now, even if all living things die out, including humans

It is said that after 5 billion years, the Sun's life will run out.
Build even a spaceship that is impossible with modern science
Unless we escape the solar system,
All living things will die out, including humans.

Even if you leave descendants and pass on the baton of life to future generations,
Even if you accomplish a feat and do your best for the world and people,
At its end, the Sun expanded and swallowed the Earth,
It will erase all traces of life.

Still, is there value in living a person's life?

The wisdom of not thinking about things you can't help but think

Apart from that, I'm not living to leave anything to future generations.
I'm not living because I've found value in living.
This is the idea of monotheists who aim to understand the role given to them by the only God who is the creator.
My Buddha said, “Don't think about the meaning! That's a bad habit!” That's what you said.

If you want to get comfort away from suffering, there is no other way but to cherish the causes that lead to your own results one by one. In other words, I told them to take care of others. I want to live so that I can work together for others and for myself. If you do that, you'll be able to get away from suffering and get some comfort... That is the Buddha's teaching.

No matter what you think with your brain, this body is trying to live like it is. If your head pulls on your body, that's just suffering.

If you do that, it's not a time to die. I don't know anything about 5 billion years from now. It's impossible to predict one step ahead, so they think about luxurious things until 5 billion years ahead. If I do what I can do now, one by one, I have no room to die. Well, I'm talking about sleeping first, though.

Will living things that are alive today still be alive 100 years from now?

I'm 50 years old, so
They may still be alive 50 years from now,
It won't live as a living thing until 100 years from now.

On the contrary,
You could die in an accident today.
This includes Wing Chun Doji
Everyone has the same fate.

But is it worth living for us?

at least
I want to live,
even if I have no value...

“Ten Trillions of Billions Were Taken by Other Monks”

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is my humble answer to the question.

In Buddhism, a unit of time called a long period of time is treated, but according to one theory, a disaster is the length of time from birth to the end of one universe. If that were the case, would it be about 20 billion years?

In the sutras, expressions such as “100 trillion nayuta asogi” and “100 trillion yuan heist” appear, but in other words, 100 x 1,000 x 10,000 x 100 million times 1 heist (120 billion if you think about it above)... Well, I think you can see that it's a huge amount of time.

For example, it will be explained that over a huge period of time, we have continued to reincarnate in this world of confusion and suffering due to ignorance (fundamental ignorance).

When you think about it, well, 5 billion years, would you say an instant or a blink of an eye, it's like that.

Also, sentient beings do not exist only on Earth, and there are many other planets, or other universes, and even worlds that we can't imagine today, the color world, the colorless world, of course, the Pure Land, etc., and even hell as the six ways, etc., and it is a place where they have continued to reincarnate in countless worlds due to ignorance and karma.

Therefore, I hope you can think that unless we get out of this reincarnation, even if the Sun and Earth disappear, we will lose our way and suffer for a long time in another world, such as another planet, another universe, etc.

Of course, Buddhism is the teaching for getting out of that reincarnation of hesitation and suffering.

If I can do something about it, in my next life, I want to be a better place than the human world, and if possible, a world where there is Buddhism, a world where Buddha is present, in other words, the Pure Land, etc., with the aim of being born in a situation where Buddhism can be practiced, and I would like to firmly combat ignorance and bad work in this life.

Even if the world were to die tomorrow, I will plant an apple tree today

The German religious reformer Luther said this.

“Even if the world were to die tomorrow, I will plant an apple tree today”

I want to be someone who plants apple trees, too.

Still alive today

You won't understand the future until that time comes, but do you think that a human breath is breathing according to human thoughts and values?
Are you really breathing while prioritizing that kind of thing?
This breath is the great truth of life.
Even if Jupiter were to collide with Earth, this breathing would continue uninterrupted until just before death.
I don't think life lives based on human thoughts, ideas, and values.
Aren't you in a state of anxiety about something?
Buddhism destroys all anxiety.
It's the Buddha's way of life.
Humans are probably hurt by thoughts and thoughts, have dark feelings, and become uneasy.
If so, what you should face is that you should face your own thoughts and minds, which are easy to fall into that negative mood.
My heart thinks about something that doesn't even exist, and now I'm worried.
The mind imagines the future and worries about what to do when that happens, even though it hasn't actually happened.
Humans suffer because of their own thoughts.
The time to think ahead is now.
Where do you think this is Atchi?
Where does he think of this guy?
Where can we imagine 5 billion years from now?
Where does it move? Who is wobbly?
To the extent that the present moment fades by imagining a world far away, human thoughts have the effect of disturbing oneself.
The first thing we should do is put to rest our heart, which worries about the world 5 billion years from now.

Nothing is wasted

Whether the Earth disappears or this universe disappears, all of our thoughts and actions are stored unconsciously throughout the universe, and one day they will be expressed in sentient beings on another planet (or newly created universe). Nothing is wasted.
