How to get your grandpa to be rescued by Amida

My grandpa is currently in a serious condition at the hospital with a brain hemorrhage and cancer.
Communication is also almost impossible.
I want my grandpa to make sure he can go to the Pure Land of Paradise, what can I do?

Please talk to them.
Also, please sing Namu Amida Buddha in your ears.
My compassionate Amitabha Buddha, please save him.

Only the bad guys can be saved

Amida Nyorai is not choosy, so I think any person can be saved. I haven't seen if I can go to the Pure Land of Paradise, so I don't know, but please do what you can now. Your grandfather is conscious even if he doesn't reply, so if you always talk to him and take care of him with that pure feeling, the pain of his illness will be relieved, and you will be able to live and nirvana with peace of mind.

Your attainment of Buddhism.

Your very kind feelings were clearly conveyed from the only 3 line question.

It is said that grandpa can go to the Pure Land of Paradise, but grandpa will decide where he should go according to his grandpa's work (actions) so far. So in the unlikely event that Grandpa is unable to go to the Pure Land of Paradise, unfortunately it is impossible for someone else to change his destination by manipulating something little by little.

Your kindness and compassion can pity, love, and nurture things, but as long as you are a weak person, it's almost impossible to help them until the end of their lives, even if they are immediate family members. Therefore, I would like you, none other than you, to become a Buddha and help Grandpa to your heart's content.

I have no intention of telling you to become a monk, but I just hope that none other than yourself will soon start practicing Buddhism in order to save your precious grandpa.

Namu Amitabha Buddha worship

Final procession

In the Jodo sect, there is a method of caregiving called a final act.
An Amitabha Buddha statue is placed next to the sick person, and the Buddha statue and the patient's hand are connected with five colored strings.
Then, they say “Namu Amida Buddha” and nembutsu next to the sick person.
Originally, it is good for patients themselves to nembutsu, but when that is not possible, people around them will nembutsu and let them listen to it themselves.
Even if you seem unconscious, there is a possibility that sounds coming in through your ears have reached your heart.

You don't even need to prepare a Buddha statue, so let's ask your grandfather to listen to nembutsu and tell them that you should definitely go to the Pure Land of Paradise.

As a precautionary point for deathbed acts, it is better to avoid things that make your family or this world feel sorry.
Family members crying and screaming “don't die” is considered bad.
