Dilemmas about work

I'm always indebted to you.

My name is Masako from the Hasunoha sect, because
It is no exaggeration to say that almost all of my Buddhism is hasunoha questions and answers.

It continues almost as follows, but since 90% of the questions and answers have been read, it's completely Hasunoha sect.

I received so much wisdom, and it's a wonderful place.
Thank you so much.

Now, as for the question, recently I don't understand how to deal with Buddhism.

I've been advocating hard work in the morning and evening for a few years,
Morning was morning, and I was busy doing housework and getting ready to go to work.
Night was night, and I gave it to them after they had finished their meal.

... but today, suddenly, I wonder if it's okay to be like this.

I didn't even recite the Heart Sutra tonight.

Sometimes in a sense of urgency, while fighting against the clock.
Work that you don't feel good about is not something you feel good about yourself.

I'd like to hear your monk's opinion.

I would appreciate it if you could answer even when you have time.
Thank you for your support.

I will answer only about the Jodo sect.
Anyone can chant Nembutsu anytime, anywhere, and in any way.
While doing housework, while taking a bath, in a futon, and in some cases, even in the bathroom.
You can chant it only once, 10 times, or even hundreds of times.
You don't have to worry about how you feel. It's best to say it because you think you're going to the Pure Land of Paradise, but sometimes it's okay to sing while wondering what to do for tonight's side dish.
So let's chant to the extent we can in our daily lives.
Also, if you say it while driving a car, your attention span will decrease and it is dangerous, so please refrain. It doesn't matter if the car is parked.

superb

The fact that you work every day is amazing.
I bow my head.
It feels good when you're able to concentrate on work, doesn't it?
If you like the Heart Sutra, I think you can just keep in mind only the spell (mantra) part of Gatei Gatai...
For example, close your eyes and slowly read as you breathe, like gyatay (inhale) gyatay (exhale) and hurler (inhale).
Naturally, all kinds of delusional distractions come to mind as if interfering with spells.
It's OK for delusional distractions to come to mind.
Don't get too caught up in delusional distractions, and return your mind to spells.
Delusional distractions come in again.
Also, it returns consciousness (thought) to spells.
This is a meditation using spells that can be done even in a short time.
Various delusional distractions come to mind, such as “I don't have time,” “I have to prepare meals soon,” “what should I eat today,” and “that happened yesterday.”
Don't get too attached to them and let go as appropriate.
“Sky” in the Heart Sutra probably means “not worthy of obsession.”
If you try it, you may discover something new.
Let's enjoy the ascetic practice.

Is it hard work or work?

Good morning.

This is Taian of the Hasunoha sect.

Thank you for your question.

I can make time to look at Hasunoha and go to the bathroom, but I guessed it was a problem about how to prepare myself because I couldn't make time to work.

It was the same for me when work became work and priorities were put on the back burner.

What did you have in mind when working?
If that reflection can be made in some situation, I think routine work can also reduce obsession with time and number of times, and have a deeper meaning.

It would be nice if you could use this opportunity as an opportunity to look back and review your daily life, but in difficult cases, there are other methods of ascetic practice other than recitation, such as worship and inspection.

We clap hands when watching Hasunoha.
I look back at other people's questions and answers.
I think that is also a great Buddhist connection.

Thank you for founding the Hasunoha sect

Masako of the Hasunoha sect

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is a humble answer to the question.

Thank you for founding the Hasunoha sect.

Ninety percent of the questions and answers have been read... That's amazing.

By the way, maybe half, no, about 30%...

The daily work is also very precious and appreciated.

Certainly, when you're busy or when you can't afford it, there are times when you just can't get in, and you want to leave it out, the same goes for bad times.

If you are an ascetic monk, you can probably concentrate and do it without unnecessary worries, but it is also unavoidable that there are circumstances of modern people who don't do that.

Therefore, it is also necessary to make adjustments so that it can be done as much as possible according to each situation.

The content may also be reviewed slightly. Separate what you need when you can't afford it from when you can't afford it, etc.

Everyday work is a place where “continuous work” is desired if possible. There are days when you do it, and there are days when you don't, but it's important to do it every day as much as possible in order to continue your mental inheritance and maintain it better.

Also, it is my own arbitrary judgment that my feelings are included or not, and apart from that, merits due to hard work can be accumulated as merits. Apart from issues on one's side, sutras, conversion, mantras, titles, etc., there are thankful and precious blessings from sutras and masters.

By all means, I hope you can devise a little bit so that it can continue for a long time.
