About denominations and graves

My father-in-law bought a grave a few years ago.
It was close to my parents' house and had a very good view.

My father-in-law is the youngest child, so we split up. The family is from the Tendai sect, but it seems that the tomb they bought is from the Nichiren sect. They say that the funeral will also be held in the Nichiren sect.

My husband is the eldest son, so I think we'll go into that tomb too. Is it OK to roll back and forth between denominations decided by our ancestors?

After that, they say that my sister-in-law who got divorced and hasn't changed her last name will also be put in that tomb. are you alright?

Excuse me from the Nichiren sect's point of view

Good evening, I'm Takeda from Fumon-in
I think my father-in-law has something to think about when it comes to changing denominations.
If you're not convinced, why don't you talk to your husband?
If you put the issue of graves on the back burner, there are many parishioners who later become an issue.
It's also good to listen to the Nichiren sect temple, and try praying and look for a place you might like the temple
According to the opinion from the temple, changing the denomination around the time is not the responsibility of the parishioners, and I think it is the responsibility of the temple that did not satisfy everyone.
I don't think my feelings of respect for my ancestors will change just because I changed them. I became a member of the Nichiren sect this time due to various relationships, but the essence is an ancestral memorial service. Let's not forget that

Please check with the temple there about your sister-in-law. With recent circumstances, I think it's probably fine, but...
There is no end to worrying about tomb morphology, etc., so please search for graves and relationships with temples and graves you can do yourself at your parents' house

Please take good care of everyone (^-^)

Today, there are so many different ossuary methods.
tree burial... balloon burial... bone scattering...
What was originally a burial was changed to cremation.

Surprisingly, “it has to be like this” is rare. So it's fine!

The sects are also broadly viewed as the same Buddhism.
Even if you look at it narrowly, the Tendai sect includes everything about the morning and nenbutsu evening titles, so it's not unrelated if it's the Nichiren sect from there (^_^) (it may be a slightly rough way of saying it)

It is a tomb with a good view and looks cozy. Please take good care of it with the whole family.
Even if no one has been buried, it is a tomb that is a memorial tower for ancestors. Gassho

It's fine.

If you work for that temple's religious denomination,
Also, if the chief priest of that temple is OK,
There is nothing wrong with a change of purpose.

If you imagine a bank account,
It's probably easy to understand,
So that you can connect to ATMs at any branch,
To our ancestors who came to the Pure Land,
No matter what religious denomination it is,
Whether it's a tomb, a Buddhist altar, or the main hall,
We can meet.

I'm in the same place with everyone.

Soulless Tomb is just a stone pagoda

I'm not saying this to you, so don't worry.
I would like to say a few words about the recent grave problem.
Erecting a tomb is just a stone pagoda if you don't have an oath with the deceased.
When a tomb is erected and held a memorial service as a Buddhist event or Buddhist ceremony, there must be a soul there.
Buddhist soul. Enlightenment soul. Whether Buddha Soul is there.
Do you know the term Bodhi Heart?
It's not OK to set up a grave at a temple.
Mourning the bodhisattva, making a bodhi, and satisfying the bodhi is “your problem.”
Along with erecting a tombstone, they also make a Buddhist vow there. It is only when the Bodhi Heart is built as a stone pagoda or memorial tower that it becomes a memorial service.
I moved. Oh, there was a temple near Orangchi. Get a nice place. This doesn't bring up individuals or ancestors.
If the family that protects, starting with the person who erects it, doesn't have the enlightenment of Bodaishin or the feeling of fulfilling the Buddha's vow, it's not religion or Buddhism, or anything, and it's OK to just set up a tomb. That's why hearts cannot be saved. Bone scattering is even better. because nothing is going to go away. tree burial? NO. (This is Tange's personal opinion)
So is it good if it's a tomb? No, if you don't have the feeling of making a vow called Bodaishin there, then neither the tomb nor the person left behind have opened their eyes.
What is the purpose of erecting graves in Buddhism? It really makes my heart feel at ease while I'm alive. It's about being saved from life, old age, illness, and death. To that end, let's rebuild the petition for enlightenment.
Please seek Buddhism. That way, all your doubts will be cleared up.
Can you hear me? The stone pagoda is crying.
“How will you live after I die? Why were graves built as Buddhist rituals? Then you should make a vow. It is only by filing a petition asking for Mujangbodhi and seeking a way that it becomes a real memorial service.” I felt it in front of the graves of my ancestors, ancestors, and people I respect.
