Relationship with him like avoidant attachment disorder
Hello.
I have an older boyfriend who I've been dating for about six months. As soon as we started dating, it became a marriage story, and I introduced it to people around me and my parents like that.
However, his temper is very unstable, and when I looked it up, I thought the state of avoidant attachment disorder was applicable.
I feel signs of “I want you to take care” and “I want approval,” but in reality, they extremely reject being able to shorten their mental distance, and it seems that they are afraid of loving and being loved.
They have a high level of pride, are strict with themselves and others, and when they are immersed in something, they are very stoic, and can also be seen as lacking in compassion.
Even so, the core part is very pure, and I like him because I think he's actually hungry for love.
However, there are so many rants, running away to alcohol, and situations where people are rejected to “break up with myself,” and I'm confused about what I should do.
When things get better, stories about after marriage come up again, and they have a great time, so it's hard to wonder why they can't maintain that state.
