Are piercings bad?

I want to open my piercings. I want to open not only my ears, but also scrampers and wrist piercings, etc., but my mother is very critical and I'm not convinced. Certainly, I don't think body piercings are very good in the public eye, but they even say, “If you can open something like that, leave the house.” My father doesn't want me to open it either, but he's not as critical as my mother.

No matter where you open them, piercings are piercings, so I don't understand why body piercings are criticized because only the ears are treated as normal. Young kids these days have their piercings in various places, and my mother is in her 50s, so I think this is an extra old idea. When I told them that, they yelled at me, “Normally, there are no parents who say open more and more.”

Why wouldn't you want them to open their piercings that far? It makes me sad that they seem to be denied piercings,

Please think carefully

I read it.
Rather than denying opening piercings, your parents may be feeling or thinking that drilling holes in your body, which they have nurtured with love, hurts them.

I think there are quite a few people in the middle-aged and elderly generation who think “harming a precious body received from a parent is a crime.” There are probably people who are quite negative about plastic surgery and feel resistant. I think it's necessary to think about that point.

If you grow up, become an adult and become independent, choose everything yourself with your own opinions and will, and implement it based on the results of thinking calmly and making decisions, I think it should be respected.

I personally think it's good too. That's because it's about myself.
Also, opening a piercing or getting a tattoo itself probably has cultural significance for humans, and it is also an identity and custom in other countries and ethnic groups. That would also show a way of life.

However, there are often things you regret after taking it lightly, so please think carefully and use it as a reference for various opinions and experiences.

It's your own body, so please take care of it.

Even think about scars from old age

If you take care of hygiene, I don't think there will be any problems.
However, let's think carefully about holes that make old scars ugly before deciding.

Thank you for your question.
Have you ever donated blood?
As a precaution when donating blood, haven't you opened your piercings for the past 6 months (1 month if using a medical institution or disposable specialized equipment)?
Also, aren't they open in places that come into contact with body fluids, such as the mouth or nose? There is an item called
This means that opening a piercing may cause bacteria etc. to invade the blood from there.
And bacteria are the cause of various diseases.
In other words, your parents aren't denying piercings; I think they're worried about your health.
The risk of ear infection is relatively low compared to other places, so I think parents think it's safer to just keep it there if possible.
So please don't hold a grudge against your parents.
If that is the case, please open it at a specialized medical institution, even if it costs some money.

Good and bad are our values.

Piercings
More than good or bad
Maybe they like it or dislike it.
I don't even think about getting piercings
I don't like it when I'm a kid.

Tattoos are irreversible
That's not the case with piercings.
Because if you want to stop it, you can stop it
I don't think it's bad.
