I'm tired of religious differences

hello. I'm always indebted to you.
I plan to become a priest at a temple in less than a week. My parents
It's another Nichiren sect religion
Now I'm against ascetic practices at temples. The reason is that parents say that if you put another religion into yourself, you will go to hell,
Videos have been shown, and they have continued to be persuaded by members of other academics of that religion who are opposed to it. I have no intention of believing in my parents' religion, and I had to go to this ascetic practice
It took time and the like to clear it. Until midnight yesterday
I kept going to the temple, so I got tired of trying to persuade them.
I don't know what's right, but I personally think it's best to make your own decisions and take responsibility for yourself,
I don't know what to do.

Please take a good rest first

I read it.
You're leaving the house now, aren't you? Your family and people involved are opposed to that, aren't you? What's more, they said, “I'm going to hell.” Then they got into arguments and they were exhausted. I don't know the details about you or the people around you, but I understand your feelings from the bottom of my heart.

If you end up arguing like that and being persuaded all night long, you'll be exhausted, and you'll run out of soul.

Please get a good night's sleep first, get a good night's sleep, recover even a little bit of physical strength, and get in shape. I'm sure you are in good shape both mentally and physically. First of all, the first thing to do is to take care of yourself and rest, so please take a good rest. Then please calm down for yourself and decide how to live your future life.

I sincerely pray to the gods, Buddhas, and ancestors that you will sleep well, recover both mentally and physically, and that you can choose the path you aspire to and walk with your own judgment, and that you will be able to sincerely live a rich, easy, and fulfilling day in the future.

It's best to make your own decisions and take responsibility for yourself

They are threatening me
What religion requires the provision of money and goods
It's fake.

Religion is freedom
The religion you think suits you
I want them to believe in it.

To become a monk is to run away from home

Ichiro, you want to be a monk, you want to be a monk, right? I think it's a great decision. Please take care of yourself.
To become a monk is to break the parent-child relationship and convert to Buddhism. Although the denominations are different, it is Buddhism founded by the Buddha. I think the fundamentals are the same.
In the Zen sect, there is also a story about a monk who ran away from ascetic practice because he wanted to meet his mother and kicked him out, saying, “It's not my child anymore.” So... if you become a monk, be prepared to break the parent-child relationship and become a monk. That's all for me

Cult religions use the affliction of pride

Worries of greed, anger, laziness, and pride lead to stress, don't they?
Obsession with religion is a derivative of the affliction of pride.
Everyone has the fear of pride that they want to think they are wonderful, they want to think that what they believe in is wonderful, they want to think that they are just, and they want to think that their religion is the best.
It is an obsession caused by the worry of pride, and it is an affliction.
However, the worry of pride is an affliction that remains until the end even for people who have accumulated quite a bit of ascetic practice (people whose worries have weakened to some extent), so even great monks at temples have many lumps of pride.
Japanese Buddhism may be better at suspending worries rather than erasing them (understanding).
For example, the moment you focus your attention on spells (mantras) such as Nanmu Myōhō Renge Kyō, Namu Amida Buddha, or Gyatagatai, you forget about greed, anger, laziness, and pride, and stress goes away, and that alone refreshes your mind and body.
Aside from the reasons and logic behind how Nichiren-sama is doing, in fact, it may just be that the brain rhythmic exercise of chanting mantras and sutras at a fixed rhythm regulates serotonin nerves.
Therefore, it is good to be thankful that “Nichiren's teachings were correct, so I was freed from trouble and suffering,” but if pride and anguish are added to that, it will lead to criticism from others, saying “only our religion is precious, and other religions are wrong.”
So, your family is just misbehaving due to worries, so let's take a calm look at it as “this is also human foolishness.”
