My mind is not stable.

Since my marriage broke up 3 years ago, I have become a humble self and have lived unstable days suffering from depression. I've stopped taking medicine for depression now and my physical condition has stabilized, and my interpersonal skills have dropped quite a bit because it's hard to speak out, probably because my humble self is coming to the forefront.
Originally, she was shy and cheerful, and she spoke a lot and had an active and positive personality, so I feel sad as if my own had changed over the past few years. Drinking alcohol brings me closer to my old self, where I could speak cheerfully. If I stay like this, I find out for myself that I'm even more single, and I'm shocked again. I don't know what to do

Regain your “positive and positive personality.”

It is said that their marriage broke up, and they became unsteady and humble
It's sad.

I think the break-up of the marriage was such a big event.
That event
It probably made me lose my bright self and make me humble.

When you encounter an event that causes you to lose brightness
The fact that the brightness has been lost
It's sad, but it can't be helped.
I think that time was a time to get back to who you really are.

And now you
Not sorrow for the event itself

“It makes me sad, like a change in myself.”
“If I stay like this, I find out for myself that I'm even more single, and I'm shocked again.”

I feel sad about my changed self,
I'm worried about my future.
It means I want to regain my true self,
I think my mind has begun to move.

It says “I don't know what to do”
I think the time has come to start something.

To be honest, I don't know something about that

What is an activity that left me the way I am now and just sought marriage
I feel like it's deepening your wounds.

First
“A shy, cheerful, talkative, and positive personality”
Let's put it back first.
I think it will become clear when something starts moving.
And let's keep exploring.
At that time, an unexpected encounter may come along.

Dealing with a sense of loss

What causes the human mind to stagnate is a “sense of loss” and “sense of end.”
And what makes it continue is “victim consciousness.”
So, these are the two things you need to overcome.
I have recovered from a similar experience, so I understand it very well.
What's interesting, however, is that Buddhism explains that there is no gain or loss.
Strictly speaking, it is not a “sense of loss,” and the consciousness that makes you “lose” it is the essence of a sense of loss.
It's hard to understand, so a little more.
The fact that you have been certified as having lost something in the past is not an end or loss in your head,
Try working little by little in your mind that it was something acquired, such as “awareness,” “trigger,” “opportunity,” “learning,” and “self-growth.” It's about looking for the positive side.
After all, humans are creatures that value ideas, so they are bound by relative notions of positive and negative.
So, I have to get rid of that crap first.
The simple method is to first not leave past loss experiences as negative evaluations, and search for positive aspects.
The ultimate purpose of this Buddhist lesson is, for you, it was a sense of loss, but on the other hand, it is good that by shining a spotlight on the positive side that has improved you mentally, the event itself can be recognized, recognized, recognised, and accepted as “just an event” before the personal opinion that there was no crime at all.
That is the gaze of enlightenment.
We awaken to a clean world before creating a sense of human profit and loss accounts, gains and losses.
If you do that, you'll be saved once and for all. Please re-read it carefully.
In fact, now, you must have already been freed from negative memories of the past.
All that's left is to repel the spells of your own mind. It's fine.
If you can't do it alone, please come to Toyama's zazen session.
Oh, if you think this method is somehow good, please come visit us.
Sanzen Buddhism training is a lifelong self-investment.

Humans are living things you can't trust.

I think it's unfortunate that the marriage broke up. I don't know the cause, but it's really painful, and you may end up with androphobia. I sincerely apologize.
There is also a world of monks like eagles. I used to go there every year to help other temples during busy periods, but suddenly it was the day before and they refused (restructuring? They say thank you for helping (like dispatch), and there's no place to sue if they say they don't need it (job offer canceled). There was also a time when humans (boys) really became suspicious.
What I did at that time was dealing with people, no matter how trivial. I participated in a walking rally hosted by the town. When I look at the faces of old men and old men at the market, say hello, and go shopping, they usually talk to them. They listen to the story and nod with a hug regardless of whether they are a good match or not at a drinking party. (“Huh.” “Wow.” “Is that true?” etc.) It's training that doesn't create barriers for people, isn't it? If you do that, before you know it, the world will become positive.
I'm sorry for depression, but if you're a human being, there are times when you feel depressed. Can't you see that there are times when you feel like that before you get rid of it all because of illness? You can't watch it. Probably, eagles may also be judged to be depressed when examined by a specialist doctor. I'm so excited and depressed that I still can't get over it. Are eagles mentally abnormal after all?
Now, while doing nursing work as a side job, I have finished my duties as a monk. I often get caught floating at work. But I'm having a fulfilling day. The god who always picks up (Buddha?) As I was told, such a person also showed up. Please live without forgetting that if you do your best, there will always be people who will recognize you.
It's not an answer, but please read it for reference only.

First, don't try to force yourself to stabilize your mind.

Anzu-sama

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is a humble answer to the question.

Since the marriage was broken up, their hearts have not been stabilized, and it seems that they have been spending some time in an uneasy state... it's really painful...

Anyway, first of all, don't think of trying to force yourself to stabilize your mind. Just as it's hard to sleep when you can't sleep when you can't sleep, even if you think about it, it's also something that becomes more difficult as you try to stabilize and stabilize your mind. Also, please refer to the humble answer below for a moment about the state of mind.

The question “If this heart doesn't exist, will that heart move?”
http://blog.livedoor.jp/hasunoha_kawaguchi/archives/1002980387.html

“... Actually, both this (own) mind and that (other) mind are things without substance, that is, “empty,” and they are nothing but things that cannot be captured originally, but as if something that mind has an entity, they are also caught (obsession) by that state of mind (particularly bad state, anxiety, fear, etc.), causing them to suffer first...”

That's right... drinking too much alcohol isn't very good, so in addition to drinking alcohol, I recommend that you create as many situations and opportunities as possible where you can relax and feel calm.

If you have a hobby that can give you a good change of pace, I think that's fine, but for example, if you're a woman, how about going to an esthetic salon, aromatherapy, yoga, hot spring trip, etc...

Also, I hope you can refer to the humble answers below, but in order to have a good relationship, love and marriage are relationships, and in order to have a good relationship, it is also necessary to make positive efforts (marriage hunting, self-refinement, etc.) toward your own state where you can meet a good relationship in your own way. Once you have a little more leeway, I hope you can give it a second thought.
