Family temple at my parents' house

Thank you for always being there.
My parents' family temple is a Nichiren sect, and they chant the Lotus Sutra on Buddhist altars.
However, as I ask questions here,
I've started listening to stories about the Heart Sutra and listening to Zen stories.
Is it OK to come into contact with Buddhism regardless of denomination like this?

No problem at all. In the first place, Buddhism aims to liberate us from the place where we have fallen into self-restraint with an awakening to universal reason, and there is no appropriateness in the restraint caused by the stubbornness of some sects or humans. Every relationship in the process of living is a relationship with the Buddha, and whether you notice it or not depends on how you are. There was an impressive statement on NHK TV “Heart Net TV” last night. A counselor admonishes a high school girl suffering from a serious family environment. “If you change yourself, your past will also change. It's going to be a meaningful past”. This way of thinking is superficially different from the basic part of Buddhist philosophy, but there was something that came down deep into the mind of an elementary school girl, just like an unknown high school girl. I'm thinking of properly grasping the treasures that have resonated with spirituality, nurturing them, and making use of them in future life counseling after being convinced. Buddhism is flexible and infinitely changing and improving. Please feel free to receive salvation. Gassho ※Please see “The Past Can Be Changed” in the blog “Record of Feelings” for details.

I am so happy to be involved in Zen and the Heart Sutra. I really want them to go. Don't hesitate. Basically, do what heals you. Depending on the person, it may be zazen, it may be nembutsu, or it may be a subject. Do what suits you. However, if people deny or are disgusted even if they are doing something different, just because it doesn't suit you, please don't get involved in Buddhism.
However, I'm praying that this won't end in my boom, but I think it's okay to stop it when it becomes painful. Also, if you want to, you can go. While repeating it, you may also think about various things within yourself.
Family temples have been worshipped by our ancestors for generations. Please don't stop your faith due to your own likes, dislikes, and hesitation, and keep protecting it from now on.

Actually, the Myōhō Renge Kyō, the Heart Sutra, and Zen have something in common

These aren't any different in the first place.
Ultimately, the content shown in the Myōhō Renge Kyō is “now, here, this.”
Sutras are just recipes and practices, so they show where treasures are.
The place of treasure is not the sutras; it is all about “now, there, and that.”
Strange Buddha's laws. A heart that blooms from a muddy swamp like an astragalus and doesn't get stuck in the mud is the original nature of the human mind.
If you look at this world with that heart, everything is Myorenge.
There's a gyatte gyatte in the latter half of the Heart Sutra.
It also shows the same by changing the angle.
Dogen Zenji, the great master of Japanese Zen, realized the true meaning of the sword created by his master, Jojo Zenji, in an exchange with his master, Jojo Zenji, and expressed his opinion with rave reviews.
Those questions and answers are described in the Chronicles of Hokyo, so I would appreciate it if you could take a look at them once.

“Wind Chimes”
The whole body is like a wind chime, and the whole body floats in the sea of law, like a wind chime, and the whole body resembles the mouth

Jojo Zenji describes how this last wind chime sounds as all the events we experience on a daily basis.
Gatee... is also similar to this sound※.
Everything that is always in front of us is Chirinchirin, and it is the ❝ truth ❞ shown by Gyaete...
Just as the sound of a wind chime ringing is ringing, isn't it always there in our reality? Incidentally, the fan is right in front of me right now talking about Hannya... and the crickets are playing Hannya = Myōhō = Myōne (truth) with Lean Lean.
Many people think that the majestic wisdom of the Buddha is somewhere in this world, and that many people realize that they can learn it.
Many translations of gyate... are also translated as “something that can go, something that can go...”, but in Zen style, I think this is an erroneous interpretation due to logic.
Myōhō Renge Kyō is the wisdom to know the truth, that is, Myōhō Renge Heart.
Mahahannya Haramitsu means wisdom, and it means that we have already reached the equinox and the truth.
Zen is what is in front of everyone's eyes now, and the way it becomes equal to that is called Zen, so they all have it in common.

What you feel with your heart, not form

Nice to meet you, Aoiro-sama. My name is Akazawa from the Nichiren sect.

I've heard stories like this from temples in the Hokuriku region before.
“The parishioners at our temple enshrine Amida Nyorai as their principal image.”

As you might have guessed, Amida Nyorai is not enshrined on Buddhist altars of the Nichiren sect. However, the temple does its work silently without saying anything. If I have the principal image of the Nichiren sect in my heart, that's fine.

The Hokuriku region is an area with many Jodo Shinshu temples. Those parishioners have also been putting their hands on this Buddhist altar since they were little, and it is also their belief that they don't feel uncomfortable with the fact that the principal image enshrined on the Buddhist altar at home is different from the principal image at the family temple. We cannot stop the feeling that we cannot replace what our ancestors have worshipped since time immemorial in our own generation.

Buddhism is not a form; it is something you feel with your heart. Please come into contact with the teachings that have touched your heart.

Studying Buddhism in general in a well-balanced manner

Aoiro-sama

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is my humble answer to the question.

“Is it OK to come into contact with Buddhism regardless of denomination?”... Yes, it really doesn't matter, and it's rather important.

The Buddhist theory, as it is called the “84,000 Dharma,” has a huge number of teachings. Therefore, there are places where it is impossible to unequivocally say that this is correct and that is wrong, taking only a small part of the teaching. Therefore, I recommend studying Buddhism in general in a balanced manner as much as possible without thinking that only teaching this purpose is enough, or that only this way of thinking and interpretation is enough.

Also, in the midst of that, I think it is important to carefully examine and repeat rational tests, accept what you are satisfied with and not accept what you are absolutely satisfied with and not accept what you are absolutely not satisfied with.

Also, Buddhism has a strong philosophical aspect of practical thought. As we put what we have learned into practice and make use of it, it is necessary to further advance learning and practical training in parallel.

Also, I hope you can refer to the various humble answers to the questions below.
