I made my friend angry
I made my friend angry; it's 100% me.
A little while ago, I asked my friend if they could introduce me to my part-time job. After that, I contacted the store manager, and the interview schedule was decided. However, after that, as I identified various part-time jobs, I found a place that seemed to be accepted elsewhere, and I made a phone call to decline.
My friend called in LINE this morning and told me that they wanted me to get in touch with them. My head wasn't spinning that far and I thought I had done it, so I apologized.
My friend contacted the store manager and I wanted him to say it wasn't angry that he declined; they're adults and they're angry that there was no contact; at least if they declined, everyone knew that it was my introduction after accepting the interview, and even if they apologize, I feel that it's too late. I was also told that such things would cause loss of trust.
When I told my friend that I didn't like it but wanted to meet him in person and apologize, it became unread.
I don't even think about my friend's position at work, and I'm seriously aware that I'm bad, is there any way I can make up? Is there no choice but to leave it up to time?
It's the first time I've made my friend this angry and I don't know what to do at all.
