Influence of a Nichiren sect

My family sect is the Zen sect, and I intend to inherit, but there is someone I know of a new Nichiren religion, and when I was worried, I was given a comic book to proselytize and read it.

I was moved by reading that book, and there were times when I thought that if my problems could be solved with faith, I would join that emerging religion, but I felt that there was something strange about that religion, and I learned about the Nichiren sect, which is the original denomination of that religion, on the internet.
As a result, I almost fell in love with the teachings of the original Nichiren sect, and once visited a temple of that sect.
Then, the chief priest said, “Since the last Buddha is Nichiren Daishonin, it is often said that there are demons and demons at shrines,” and “it is often said that there are demons in shrines,” and I became worried that going to a Zen zazen ceremony, going to a shrine, and putting hands on a kamidana would disobey that Nichiren faction.
I also learned that the denomination disobeys the teachings of its own sect is also called slander.
At that temple, sutras and titles were presented to the principal image together with the chief priest.

I originally wonder if it's the truth or correctness only for those who believe, but I thought it might be better to solve something like brainwashing.
Both that Nichiren sect and the emerging religion from there have not joined.
How do you think I can trust Zen or Shinto with peace of mind?
I think the influence of that Nichiren sect is quite large.
There is also a part where I regret going to that temple and worshiping it.

I am in trouble because it is difficult to discuss this with the chief priest of the temple of my grandfather and grandmother who is the father of Zen Buddhism.
Also, my grandfather's temple is in another prefecture, and it's far from the area where I currently live, so I'm worried about whether it's okay or even if I can talk to a Zen temple other than Danke.
I feel like zazen sessions of my own Zen sect are held at a temple in my area and end there, and the chief priest soon disappears. Also, it's hard to talk about this kind of thing.
I don't know whose monk I should talk to. I don't even know if a Zen monk is good, or if a Nichiren monk who isn't exclusive is good.
Do you think it's okay to worship another Buddha or god at a shrine without believing what that Nichiren sect says?
Is that what Nichiren Shonin's teachings says?
If there's anything I can teach you, I'd be happy if you could answer it.

It's fine. Don't worry.

As for the point of “is it OK to worship another Buddha or a god at a shrine without believing what one particular denomination says,” it's fine. There is no such thing as causing any misfortune or being hit by a ridiculous bee in the future. There's absolutely no need to worry.
The teaching of Buddhism since the Buddha was preached is the stance of not believing that “the Buddha said that, so there is no doubt about it” or “that is only correct because it is decided so by the sect,” but the stance is that you should learn the correctness by yourself and practice it well. Conversely, it's also troublesome that someone tells you the correct answer and it doesn't mean you just have to get on it.
Having questions is also an opportunity for me to take my own learning and practice one step further. If there are no people close to you that you can ask, I think it's okay to ask questions again on this question site.

Walk your own path.

Nice to meet you. My name is Hirofumi (Kobun).

Basically any teaching
If you think it's a way to make people unnecessarily scared or uneasy
I think it's better not to worry too much about it.

I explained that each person has a path to walk
I think it's the Lotus Sutra
As a sutra that is read on a daily basis even in Zen Buddhism
The Lotus Sutra has come in handy.

Touch the teachings of Nichiren Shonin or other denominations
What is actually checking for yourself, examining, and choosing
I think that's true.

Even Buddha
“Check it out for yourself, even if it's my teaching. They say, “If you think it's wrong, throw away that teaching.”

It seems that they were told “denominations other than ours will become unhappy”
Buddha would listen to that and what an answer would be.

I would appreciate it if you could use it as a reference.

From Nichiren Buddhist monk to Naoyuki

Naoyuki
It seems difficult, and I would also like to discuss it.

Don't be a religious nerd.

This is because it misses the essence.

I'm a monk of the Nichiren sect, and I'm not of the Nichiren lineage,

One thing I can say is that when it comes to slander,
Nichiren sect, then

As time has passed, attitudes that place importance on social coordination and peaceful dialogue have become mainstream.

Therefore, I respect other religions as well.

In fact, I am also working at the bottom of Hasunoha with the support of teachers from other religions.

The strong suppression of other religions by the Nichiren sect is a thing of the past.

You won't be unhappy just because it's a sect other than the Nichiren sect.

Syncretization of Shinto and Buddhism.

There are no demons at the shrine.

This is because the Nichiren sect maintains a way of thinking and respecting Japanese gods enshrined in shrines as “the gods of heaven who protect the Lotus Sutra,” and a tradition of syncretism between Shinto and Buddhism.

Actually, I am a Nichiren sect monk, and thanks to everyone, I was able to complete my first outrage at Mogami Inari.

There are completely different views between the Nichiren sect and the Nichiren family.

It looks like information is coming from a lot of people

In short, wouldn't it be best if you were stuck in the place where you had a Buddhist connection?

You should be convinced by yourself, not by people's opinions, and move forward by experiencing it.

Also, I think it would be good to have a proper relationship with the temple of the father of Zen Buddhism's grandfather and grandmother.
That's also because it's the path my grandfather and grandmother walked.

Since our ancestors are there, we are living now.
The mourning of our ancestors is important.

If you had an encounter with the Lotus Sutra,

Try receiving the Lotus Sutra with your heart instead of knowing it with your head.

Please leave your mind and body to the Lotus Sutra and recite the sutras.

You can always get your experience.

The scenery of life is different if you have a place you care about and if you don't have a place you care about.

May the scenery you see be wrapped in a clear and warm sense of faith.

What kind of relationships have they been passed down through? Be thoughtful by knowing history

No matter how great the teachings are, it's very dangerous to say “people will become unhappy in denominations other than those.” Each of them has people who cherish that teaching in their lives, so we must not decide that it is unhappiness, etc., and doubt the Buddha's salvation.

Therefore, if they are monks who value their teachings, they don't criticize other Buddhas or their beliefs, or take an exclusive view that they are the only ones. It is unfortunate that there is a chief priest who says such a thing. In the end, it made you feel uneasy.

Above all else, being able to feel safe when you come into contact with the teachings. Also, religion is personal freedom, but if you have a purpose that has been cherished from generation to generation, you can take this opportunity to ask your family. What kind of relationship led to your faith? How has it been handed down? By knowing the history from generation to generation, I think you can also find a place you can rely on with deep feelings.
