Great Buddhists

Konnichiwa. Thank you for your support.
Without further ado, do you think there are modern and contemporary Japanese Buddhists who have performed more Bodhisattva deeds than Mother Teresa?
If the monks say “this person was great, great,” please tell me the name of that person. (If there are books related to that person, I'd like to read them)
Also, it may be said that “it is not a matter of comparison,” but I would like you to take into account that this is not just a question.
Thank you for your support.

I wonder if it's not there

I don't think there's anyone like Mother Teresa.
The purpose of her devotion to be chosen by God as Christianity and the Bodhisattva act to reach a Buddhist revelation are different, but the act itself still has something in common.
It's about leading people and helping people.
I don't think anyone has had as much global impact as her in recent years.

It's not as good as her, but recently, Sasaki Hideki has been working hard in the same India.
I think it's amazing.

Even so, the reason why people from India don't appear may still be due to the caste system.

I'm not going to compare it to Mother Teresa,

Do you think there are any modern Japanese Buddhists who have performed more Bodhisattva rituals than Mother Teresa?

Mother Teresa is very famous as a Christian, and recently there were reports that the Vatican listed her as a “saint,” so I think she is highly regarded as a very great person. However, I don't know Mother Teresa's achievements in detail, so I don't know how to evaluate them. I've only met the person I'm about to introduce once, but I don't know all of their achievements. I don't want to compare myself to Mother Teresa. It's also disrespectful to Mother Teresa, and I think it's also disrespectful to Arima Master, who is introduced below.

Related books have been released, and there is also a requirement that you can know that person's achievements. I don't know how to make a judgment based on your own yardstick, but I would like to introduce the following books because they are “modern and contemporary...”

After the fall of the Pol Pot administration, Cambodia continued to be in a state of civil war for a long time, and as a result, many refugees crossed the border and fled to Thailand. There are many people who have made efforts for such refugees, and Arima Sanesei Roshi is one of them.

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is my humble answer to the question.

Mother Teresa was recently officially canonized as a saint.

Speaking of which, it's an article from quite a long time ago, but I thought of an article about Mother Teresa that shocked me a bit... it's just gossip, maybe it's just a category of annoyance...

is it actually a hoax? “Mother Teresa Myth”

Of course, both the Bodhisattva and the Saints are not Bodhisattvas or saints from the beginning, and acts of mercy and altruism will accumulate along with failure, remorse, support, and scolding. In the case above, there are also cases where they capture only failures and remorse during that time and criticize them, and there are also places where it cannot be said unequivocally...

Now, in Buddhism, it is called “Sanrin Shojo,” and for example, there are cases where the three sides that give the three wheels are pure, the side that gives the offering, and the side that gives the offering, or there are cases where the three facets are pure of the three works of body and mouth, but as an act of mercy and altruism, it is important as a Bodhisattva act that acts as a Bodhisattva.

Among modern and contemporary Japanese Buddhists, those who have done bodhisattva deeds that are true good deeds... quite honestly, there are places that cannot be achieved with humility...

However, if I wanted to learn something about the practice of the Bodhisattvas... I also know that it would be impossible to rely on the sutras.

For example, I think the Kegon Sutra and the Lotus Sutra are also good. In particular, from the Ten Kegon Sutras, it is a content where you can learn specifically about the Ten Realms of the Bodhisattvas.

Just for your reference.

An organization called Ayus, etc.

There is an organization called Ayus.
Not limited to this organization, there are many Buddhists who are involved in international cooperation, etc.
They aren't famous people like Mother Teresa.
I respect the Nameless Bodhisattvas.
