A monk's date

What kind of places do monks go on dates ❔
Do you hold hands ❔ do you go with clothes ❔ do you disguise ❔
Aren't you worried about people's eyes ❔

He's a monk. I'm currently in a long distance relationship, but I'm coming here in work clothes. I almost never go on a date as is, but sometimes I just eat a meal and go home. Should I care a little more ❔

It may be silly, but I was curious about how all the monks date their girlfriends and wives, so I asked them a question.
Thank you for your support.

Just the way it is.

I don't know what kind of monk he feels like, so I can only answer my case...
There are a lot of monks, too.

My dates are normal, by the way.
Or rather, on the contrary, they are seen as monks, so it may not be normal in a public sense...

I've walked around Disneyland in work clothes, and I've even prayed at shrines and temples in tank tops.
There were times when we greeted them with bouquets of flowers, and there were times when we hugged each other at home and regretted parting ways...
Walking hand in hand while shopping, eating in a dowel...
That was a long time ago... (^^;

When I asked the hostess about monks in Gion, Kyoto...
I once told me the characteristics of monks in this denomination that they often wear work clothes, this sect is casual, and this sect has suits...

Aside from that,
I'm also obsessed with taking it for granted that I should be like this with monks.
I'm also obsessed with dressing up and thinking that I shouldn't show an embarrassing appearance.

It is my own idea that things that cannot express joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure are far from being destroyed, and I think twists and turns are the Buddha's calling.

If he says, “That's embarrassing...”, please say that there are boys like this too.
I don't think I'll ever get praise... (^^;

Wouldn't it be nice if you could support him well while following his feelings?

I wish you happiness.

Work clothes are Japanese work clothes

Work clothes are work clothes. work clothes
The official uniform for monks (monks) is a robe.
Something that looks like a cape or apron that hangs from the left shoulder, or something that looks like an apron, and folds it small and hangs it around the neck like a ring; that is the cape.
Japanese monks often wear Japanese clothes under their robes, and Japanese clothes are also uniquely designed for monks.
Work clothes are used as Japanese clothes for work.
However, those kimonos are no exaggeration.
When you come on a date in a work uniform, it's like a police officer takes off his uniform and comes with only the cutter shirt and tie he wears underneath.
If you want them to be more stylish, why don't you tell them that?
Incidentally, in my case, putting on and taking off my hat is on and off as a monk.
If alcohol is served to you by a parishioner at a memorial service, you will not drink alcohol while wearing a robe. I'm going to take off my hat.
Once you take off your hat, it's like going back to secular life (quitting being a monk).
When I'm not wearing a kimono, I don't need to dare to spend time in Japanese clothes, just the clothes underneath, so I wear clothes in my daily life.
I also clean temples in work clothes or jeans that people in the construction industry wear.
If it's a temple you care about looking like a tourist temple, it would look better if you work in a work uniform.

Usually it's just shopping, dining, and local tourist spots. It's a mountain temple in the countryside, and since I can't go out to town, I feel like I have to do some shopping... but that's the case when I have children. The trip is full of castles and gardens. Castles are my hobby, and gardens are my wife's hobby. It's been 1 year (2 years?) since I said let's go to USJ.

Hands are rarely held together. It's clothes. I will disguise myself. Wear a hat to hide your shaved head. That's because it gives you a sense of intimidation. If you forget your hat, your gaze is amazing (crying) Even if you go to the park with your kids, the parent and child that played earlier will disappear with 1 group and 1 group again (crying) If it's clothes, a hat is essential. Oh yeah, there are a lot of cases where only the bottom is work clothes and the top is clothes... maybe because of this!?
Kimonos are worn at local festivals. Put on the monk's kimono in a slightly stylish way, and attach a coat string made by your wife to the coat you bought from a recycled kimono. If you do that, the locals will also be happy.

You should probably be careful about SNS, etc., but basically you should keep it normal. There are people who wear work clothes even if they aren't monks.

It really depends on the person, but...

In my case, I don't go on dates in work clothes.
Pants, shirts, jackets, etc. Also, recently, since I can't change my hairstyle, I've been particular about hats and changing various things.

Basically, they are no different from normal people, but they also wear clothes when requested, such as visiting temples.

I really think it depends on the monk, but most of the monks around me don't look like monks on dates.
