I'm afraid of terrorism

I'm freaked out every day. I'm afraid of running into terrorism.
In order to be in a state of relaxation,
Do I have to practice ascetic practices?

In times of disaster, disaster is a good time to meet.
When it's time to die, it's good to die.
This is in Myōhō, which avoids disasters.

Can you pass away in the Pure Land of Paradise no matter when you die

Most living things don't want to die, so it's normal to be afraid of danger.
If you don't like being afraid of terrorism, it may be realistic to live in an area where terrorism is rare.
Still, there's no shortage of worries.
If you think you can pass away in the Pure Land of Paradise if you say Namu Amida Buddha, it might be a little better.
You may be able to freeze your fear only while you are being called Namu Amida Buddha.
(I have been able to do it, but there may be individual differences.)
However, when I'm not doing the Nembutsu of Namu Amida Buddha, I still feel afraid.
It's a natural human habit, so you probably won't worry too much about it.
“When we should meet fear, we often meet fear”

Suffering is suffering and enlightenment

Why are we afraid of terrorism?
Where does that fear come from in the heart?
I don't understand what I don't understand even if I practice ascetic practices,
There are times when you can understand without training.
First, it's important to know the source of your fears.
There is a beginning for everything, such as seeing images and photos of people who have encountered terrorism, or whether hearing stories is the beginning of fear, or whether hearing the news makes you feel vague fear. Please start by thinking about that area.
Next, think about what you're afraid of.
If you do that, I think I'll be able to get closer to feeling like Yoshihiro.
The title words are from Nichiren Shonin from the Kamakura period.
If you realize that suffering is suffering as it is, peace of mind will also be born.
I haven't reached that point yet, though.

Don't put a negative label on that event

When you meet disaster, you meet disaster ~ this is in Myōhō, which escapes disaster.
I feel that many people have misread this.

What is the true meaning of this word
It means that you should directly encounter the incident as it is.
I can't add my own thoughts secondarily.
It means that you should see through the essence of things and treat them as they are in the first place.
What is the realm of enlightenment and the realm of nirvana where you can experience zazen
It's about spending time in the same state as it was at the first time, before secondary human thoughts are repeated.

When you meet someone directly, you don't add your own good or bad judgment to it.
Just leave it unadded and do what it's supposed to do.
Right now, I'm in a burning hell outside. I'm typing this next to the curtain.
This year, too, there were many deaths due to abnormal weather. This weather is already a disaster.
However, at the first time you met them directly, they probably didn't even have labels such as disaster, misfortune, trouble, or bad luck.
The truth is that if it's hot, it's hot. So if you stay outside for a few hours, you'll die.
So, I have no choice but to escape the heat.
As for traffic accidents, the only time an accident occurred was the moment it crashed.
After that, it's time to deal with it, clean up, and clean up.
A branch in the temple grounds was broken earlier, blocking the road.
I didn't say anything too loud, I didn't say anything, and I let go of it.
It was very heavy.
Oh, that's a disaster, I drove with one hand on my motorbike and carried it while dragging a large tree over 20 kilometers with my left hand.
My left hand was stung by a mysterious bug and my left hand is paralyzed. It's not really a problem.
Having attained enlightenment, Yoshihiro sees things as they are and treats them as they are.
It doesn't become negative by adding comments that are unnecessary and far-fetched.
Heavy snowfall is heavy snowfall.
An earthquake is certainly an earthquake.
The heat of midsummer is definitely hot. That's just it.
It doesn't mean you can just stay that way when it's hot or in a fire.
It means don't let your feelings that break your heart run wild there, and stay true.
That is sitting, and that is zen.
Try bringing a kitchen knife right in front of you.
It's
➀ Is it cooking utensils
➁ Is it a weapon
➂ Is it just a metal product?

The answers aren't even ① to ③.
It's just that.
Spending time as it is is a magic trick that allows you to calmly deal with disasters or terrorism.

Limited time is wasted

What should I do if I die in a terrorist attack...

It's fine.
You can't do anything when you die, so there's no need to worry about what to do.

Fear begins by creating something that isn't there.
Once your imagination expands, you will be unable to move due to fear.

The area where you live is probably an area where terrorist attacks occur frequently.

However, the probability of dying in a traffic accident is probably higher than the probability of dying from a terrorist attack.

And yet no one gets into a car or an airplane considering the probability of death.

There is a saying in Nichiren Shonin's words, “You should learn about death first, and then learn various things later.”
I interpret it as meaning that the present should be fully fulfilled because it is a limited life.

Don't worry, people will die one day.
Long or short, that's all.

So, wouldn't it be better to live in the “now” so that you don't have any regrets?

If you always live your life hard without regrets, no matter when you die, you won't regret it.

Even if you think about various things before that happens, the world you imagine and the reality you meet will surely be different in appearance and shape.

The time you're afraid of is also your limited precious time.

Please don't waste it.

What will it be when you worry about the future that is yet to come

Certainly, terrorism is scary. But aren't you worried about it so much that you can't even touch the fact that you're alive right now?
The important thing is now, isn't it?
Worrying about something that hasn't happened yet won't solve anything.
Please take a close look at reality.
