About Gaki 2

When I looked it up, there are 36 types of Gaki, and it seems that some of them take newborn babies and suck the energy of people who are not followers of Buddhism. So, can hungry ghosts do bad things to people? I thought so.
Are hungry ghosts cursed by people?

Hello.

Thanks for the new questions. This was a bad answer I gave last time. I'm sorry.
Around you, like “Yo-kai Watch,” “is this Gaki's work?” I was wondering if something happened, and wrote “Please ask one more question.”

Apparently that wasn't the case; it seemed like I was just thinking about it as a simple question.
If that's the case, it's the same as the answer to the previous question, and the answer is “That's not true.”

No one knows the world after death. Also, the existence of “hungry ghosts” is negative, even with current science.
Even in Buddhism, it is sometimes used figuratively or conveniently about “hungry demons,” which is the world after death, but it is not said that it really exists. For details, please search for keywords such as “reincarnation” from other questions and read them.
It means we can't talk about something that isn't there.

Also, “it sucks the energy of people who are not followers of Buddhism,” and if that happens, everyone who isn't a Buddhist will be absorbed in energy (laughs)

Don't let the hungry devil take your heart away too much.

Let's be careful

I read it. There are a lot of people who just show their greed like hungry ghosts. I see people deceiving a lot of people every day by spreading lies for their own selfishness.
I also see people killing people for their own selfishness.
So there are a lot of hungry ghosts in human form all around us in this world.

I don't want that to happen. I'm sure one day you'll eat up yourself and your surroundings due to your own selfishness.

Let's be careful.

There are various stories about Gaki Gaki written in Gaki Jitsukyo. A thin hungry demon who has a thin throat and can't eat or drink because fire comes out of his mouth. Hungry demons look like normal humans. A hungry demon as beautiful as a celestial maiden. Even though they have a beautiful appearance, only their mouths are rotten because of lies told during their lifetime. Hungry demons live gracefully during the daytime because of lies told during their lifetime, but are killed every night at night (they come back to life in the morning). There are actually a lot of different things. Every hungry demon has been duly rewarded for his actions during his lifetime. Every hungry ghost is a poor bunch of hungry ghosts.
However, there is no description of how to curse people.
Rather than that, they show up asking people to do good deeds and turn those merits to themselves. The person who heard it, for example, offered food etc. to the monk and turned around so that the hungry devil would be happy. Then, food etc. appear in front of those hungry ghosts, and they are born in the celestial world after their lifespan as hungry ghosts is over.
If you see a hungry ghost, then do a good act without asking for anything in return, and pray that this merit will be a blessing for Gaki.

Gaki are people who live in an invisible world, but...

I don't think there are many people who can clearly answer the question of whether there are hungry ghosts or not. Look, there's no one who can show that this is a hungry ghost. However, temples do things such as the Sega demon memorial service. At ascetic dojos at the head temple of the Shingon sect, there is also a small low stand where food is given to Gaki, and the height is probably about 50 centimeters, and it seems that Gaki is that tall. So, at every meal, an ascetic monk saves a little bit of rice on a plate to give to the hungry, but many ascetic monks fill their plates in the evening. They are lined up at the wet edge of the main hall, and sutras are recited to the garden, and the meal that was taken away is placed on a small stand made for Sega demon in front of the main hall and given to Gaki. Gaki is said to be very funny and fearful, so during the Sega demon memorial service, they hide the rosary in their hands and do the memorial service. It is said that after the sutras are over and the meal is given, you should never look back, so if you quickly disappear to hide, a hungry ghost will come and eat your meal.
If there is a gap, Gaki will stick to humans and cause trouble, so it seems that if you do a Gaki memorial service with all your heart in this way, they will become hungry ghosts that don't do anything bad, and on the contrary, they will protect humans. In this way, they make a memorial service for Gaki and have them take their side. This place where hungry ghosts and humans can coexist peacefully is called the Pure Land of Symbiosis. The phrase “Pure Land of Symbiosis: Gushojodo” is a Buddhist term I love, so I also used it as the title of my collection of poems. It's an interesting esoteric idea not only to coexist with all kinds of living creatures, but also to get along well with invisible hungry ghosts who are about 50 centimeters tall.

Gaki is Gakishin

I think it can be said that there are hungry demons all over the world.
People in the old days had better sensitivities than modern people.
I had the power to properly look at myself and stare at the depths of the human heart that there is desire, desire for profit, a heart of love for oneself, a heart that only cares about oneself, and a self-centered private heart.
That kind of ego, a heart of selfishness, is called a hungry devil, a hungry devil.
Gaki symbolizes the human ego, a way of looking at things centered around oneself.
To put it simply, good bacteria in the mind are bad bacteria. It's Baikinman.
It lurks in everyone's heart.
So, if you increase Gakishin, even human children like “The Eighth Day Cicada” will be kidnapped.
“Breathing the energy of someone who is not a devotee of Buddhism”
◯ People who are not followers of Buddhism → people who are unable to face the horror of human ego, greed, and anger, and live around themselves. It means that they are self-centered, have no religion, no sense of morality, or ethics, who think they are fine just the way they are.
People who don't know that their existence is deeply involved with those around them also conduct nuclear tests. Like the Islamic State, it's OK to kill women and children.
People who have been absorbed in their energy as proper humans are probably falling into magic.
In other words, they don't face the thing called Gakishin, which lurks in everyone in the human mind, and all people who are good at Gakishin live an egocentric way of life and get involved in foolish acts that don't look back at their surroundings. That's why there is a teaching that in order to save such a hungry heart, let's offer Buddhism, which symbolizes the wisdom and mercy of the Buddha. Buddhist rice is a symbol of Buddhism.
Children can't get used to eating raw rice, so you need to make it into sweets.
If there is no food in the world, Gaki becomes a bacteria or virus and parasitizes on the human body.
Therefore, raw rice, raw vegetables, and local products are distributed to symbolize the fact that curry, eggplant, rice, etc. should be applied to every kind of life in the natural world without separation.
It is also a ceremonial symbolic act, and it means that if the other party is a human, arrange it in a form that humans like and perform it.
Father's Day if it's a tree.
Dad will be happy if you give him a gift or give him a gift in a form he likes.
My partner doesn't accept that I'm good at it.
Therefore, listening to the other person's thirst with Kanzeon's heart is the heart of the Bodhisattva, and the heart of the Buddha.
Wouldn't it be good to have something like this?
