I've always been bashed, and there have been times when terrible things have been done by pretending to be on my side. There were times when I was depressed because it was so bad. Recently, a chief priest of the same generation said, “They do terrible things because they do decent things, so being done terrible things is proof (testimony) that your (in other words, my) way of life is correct,” and I'm no longer depressed compared to before. That person is a great person, but after all, terrible things keep being said. Please think that humans are creatures that belittle others, go behind the scenes, and do terrible things. Under such circumstances, relationships you can really trust are rare, but they can always be formed, so I think it's important to cherish that.
When it comes to Buddha, it seems that he was still being harshly ridiculed. The reason was that he was a great religious person. Well, the Buddha was kept silent without being refuted by mocking words. The Buddhist way of life is to not deal with stupid people.
If you think that your way of life is right, don't you have the confidence to think that terrible things are said or done and let go of it by thinking that it's like that?
