I want to get rid of the foliage plants in my house...

I'm indebted to you

Now in my house when my kids were little
From the little leaf I brought home
huge?? It has grown into (11 years have passed)

Plants are compressing the veranda
I'm in trouble (I'm Giant Mother Leaf

It's going to increase so much!)

2 in a large pot and 1 in a small planter
and there is one in the vase (the same thing that has increased)

This is originally a tropical plant
I can't go outside in the winter, so I have to go into the house

It's really troublesome and I'm in trouble
The child also said, “I never thought this would happen! ” and
I'm surprised
“Mom, why don't you get rid of it already? It says”

Later, “things that have finished blooming” such as phalaenopsis orchids that I received at celebrations etc.
It's only leaves, and I've been at home for about 2 years
(There are also about 3 of them...)

think until they wither and grow them? I'm here
Honestly, I'm in trouble

This is a rental apartment

Phalaenopsis doesn't like the cold either
I'm not even going to plant it outside

Killing is also for plants
Does it have anything to do with Buddhism?

That's even better
I want to get rid of these plants
Recently I've started to think

What should I do?
Thank you for your support

I think it would be nice if you just dispose of it as it is without worrying about it. It can't be helped, because it wasn't an environment where I grew up. Plants and animals cannot live for long in places that are not in a living environment.
At least, with the feeling of thank you.
In the future, while thinking about such things, please use it as an opportunity to talk with your family about coexistence and whether it is really necessary here.

thank you...

Thanks so far..

With that feeling, say words, don't dispose of it, please send it out for them.

The number of mother reefs is increasing...

Isn't there someone who wants M?

If there are plants in the room, the air circulates, so I think it's okay to leave just a little bit... Just a little bit is enough...

Hello, Reiji. This is Shima Daisei

I didn't know there are plants that sprout from leaves!
There are so many things outside of the temple that I don't know (laughs)

Now, what is the extent to which death is taken, and where does natural providence begin
It has been an issue that has never run out of discussions since the Buddha was in his days.

We are living creatures that cannot survive without ingesting others.
That's probably why this topic has been a concern for people since ancient times.

There was also a person who asked the Buddha this “how far is death” question

That person was a peddler walking across the desert
The peddler says, “Lord Buddha, I have to quit peddling”
“Why?” When the Buddha asked, the peddler
“When I walk, I unexpectedly step on insects crawling on the ground.
Killing is bad. But if I quit peddling, I won't be able to eat...
What should I do?”
I answered.
It seems that the Buddha comforted him by saying, “Nothing goes that far.”

Now I'll go back to Reika-san's consultation
After all, if G causes inconvenience in the lives of herself and her family,
I think it's okay to dispose of it

And what if Reika-san is against that Mother Leaf
If you think “I'm sorry” or “I want to do a memorial service,”
It would be a good idea to do an Osegaki memorial service

Let's take this opportunity to learn how to take care of yourself properly

I will answer after reading thank you.

What is important for growing plants and humans to coexist is “pruning” (pruning). We reduce branches and shorten our height every year at a fixed period (different depending on the type of plant). The tree will maintain its shape in anticipation that it will grow again next year.

I googled it, but since this kind of plant has very strong vitality, it's probably a species that is hard even for amateurs to fail. Conversely, it can also be said that humans are responsible for making changes because their vitality is too strong.

Please see here for details.

> Cut back: When it becomes a large plant, flowers bloom from winter to spring. Plants with flowers grow close to 200 cm, and flower stalks that have finished blooming wither and become unsightly, so cut back to about 30 cm in height between May and June when the flowers end.

It has become a convenient world, and if you Google it, there is a lot of information and voices from experienced people, so please do a lot of research.
