I can't understand the hobbies of the person I like

I was handed over to him four months ago due to a mismatch in hobbies, etc. My friendship with him continues for the time being.
I still love him. If the reason was a mismatch in his hobbies, I thought I'd try his hobby first, and then try to understand it. (His hobby is games, and I like photography and going to zoos, aquariums, and animal cafes, and I only played games when I was little)
We can talk about common topics, and if we meet again, I hope we can play games together...

However, even though I watched the game for the first time, I still couldn't do it well, my concentration didn't last much, and I couldn't do it with the same amount of energy as him...
Why can't you share and understand the hobbies of someone you like
Is it because I don't have enough feelings for him?
I also tried online games that I hated, and although I thought they were fun, I didn't feel like playing them every time.

Why don't I like him that much that I can't share or understand the hobbies of someone I like? I don't understand. Please let me know.

Loving him and falling in love with his hobbies are two different things.

that doesn't matter, does it?
Even if you can understand someone you like, even if you can understand every single thing that person is interested in, there are times when you can't enjoy it together.

Understanding means being accepted as having fun.
Being able to fall in love with yourself and have fun together is a separate issue from liking the person yourself.

There's nothing he can do about it if people with similar interests go out with him.

Even if you force yourself to play together, it won't be fun, no matter how much you like.

I wouldn't go out with someone who imposes a hobby on me, or someone that's a requirement to go out with, though.
Even when we're together, it's boring, and it just gets tough.
Things that don't fit can't be helped.

that's because overdoing it won't last

I read it.
Well, since they have different interests and hobbies, it's painful to do something you don't like, so I think it's difficult to do it together.
I think it would be difficult for that person to have a relationship if they focus on their hobbies.
That's because you can't change that person's mental priorities.

Please take your time and look at the people and things that are important to both you and that person, and make your own decisions.

You and that person will continue to meet people from now on.

Did he understand your hobby?

What is he
Go to zoos, aquariums, and animal cafes
Did they go on a date?

If he liked you too
I guess I tried to suit your taste.

If not
Maybe they weren't a good match in the first place.

Rather than having the same hobbies and the same values
Being able to understand different hobbies and values
I think it's important.
