Sutras

I don't belong to any religion right now, but the teachings of Buddhism seem most natural to me.
Is it OK to have an ancestral memorial service, a theme with daily wishes for peace, a day to give the Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō, or a day to read the sutras of the Heart Sutra?
For example, if you are a Christian, what does it mean to pray in Buddhism?

Praying for sutras and memorial services

Has Mami ever visited graves at least once?
At that time, don't you probably remember or utter words like thank your ancestors for protecting them on a daily basis and please protect them in the future?
I think the phrase “Please continue to protect me in the future” is already common in prayers ^_^
Incidentally, I think the way of thinking differs depending on the denomination, but your ancestors have already passed away and have become Buddhas in the world called the Pure Land of Paradise. So I thought visiting my ancestors' graves (memorial service) = praying to the Buddha.
Incidentally, I think there are many people who misunderstand it, but in Buddhism, Buddha (Buddha) is not the only god, many Buddhas existed in the past, present, and future, and Buddha understood all the teachings of many Buddhas and spread those teachings.
Therefore, when it comes to famous places, there are various Buddha statues such as Jizo (Jizo Bosatsu) and Amida Nyorai.

Just clasping hands, that's all

I don't know if it's true or not, but please just clap your hands
It's fine even in front of a Buddhist altar, and if you walk down the street and have a Jizo, be sure to put your hands together
If you pass in front of a temple, face there and put your hands together

Nothing difficult, that's enough
If you let your body and mind understand them, faith will naturally be born

If you can give sutras at a Buddhist altar, that's fine, please do it
Please make a habit of putting your hands together first, there's nothing difficult

Manners vary depending on the denomination,

In the Jodo Shinshu sect,
All you have to do is put your hands together and praise the nembutsu “Namu Amida Buddha.”

Since Amida Nyorai is in the Western Pure Land,
Turn over there,
While imagining Buddha and ancestors,
Please praise Gassho and Nembutsu.

Namu Sanbo (Namu Sanbo)

What are the three treasures (sanbo)
There are three: the enlightened Buddha, the preaching Dharma, and the preaching monk.
The Buddha is Buddha, who has awakened to the truth.
The law is the teachings that Buddha preached, the truth that Buddha understood, and Dhamma.
A monk is a monk or cult (sanga) that conveys the law.
It can also be said that devotion to the Three Treasures means becoming a Buddhist.

In the anime “Ikkyu-san,” Ikkyu-san often said “Namu-san,” and this is “Namu-san.”
Namu means something like I will return (return), respect and entrust.
Namu is added when I respect Namu ○○ and ○○.
Even when they work for the Jodo sect (memorial service), they always pray while chanting words meaning devotion to the Three Treasures.
Also,
Buddha Saranan Gatchami
Dammam Saranan Gatchami
Sangan Saranan Gatchami
If you chant it, it should also be understood by overseas Buddhists.
What does it mean
I turn to Buddha.
I submit to the law (truth).
I am devoting myself to monks (monks of the Saints).
That's it.
