About career paths

I'm not feeling well about my career path. I wanted to get some advice, so I asked a question.

I'm currently preparing to enroll in college.
I went to a so-called preparatory school in high school, and even within high school, I got good grades.
However, I failed my first choice in the university entrance exam, and I decided to go to the university of my second choice.
It was a result of doing my best, so I had no regrets; rather, I thought it was good that I was able to go to the university of my second choice.

However, when I asked about my friend's career path recently, it made me think that it is a university that is superior to where I went to school, or that it was my first choice university, and that I was better than that girl on school tests.

Also, a child who was in the same middle school and went to a high school that was many ranks lower than me was supposed to go to a university with the same rank as where I went on to college, which made me feel so complicated that I couldn't express it.

I don't think the names of the universities are everything. However, it's this time of year, and we can't ignore it. The place I went to college is also regarded as excellent in its own way, but I am increasingly concerned about people's career paths, and I feel an inferiority complex and jealous.

I know everyone's efforts, so I honestly want to congratulate them, and I want to have pride and confidence in where I went to college. How can we do that? It only bothers me about unnecessary things.

It's about what you want to do

Thank you for taking the exam.
Please take a good rest.
No, maybe I should play with my high school friends now.

As for the career path, you are smart, so I think you know it yourself, but what is important is not which university you are at, but what you study and what work you do.

Let's think about our goals once again.
What do you want to do for yourself and for society?
What can we do?

First, let's go to the university you were enrolled in.

Try enrolling
What are the good things about that university
Find something you care about.
So I wonder if it's the right university for me to attend
Let's make a decision.

If the university of your first choice is good no matter what,
Kamen ronin surunari
Why don't you try taking a leave of absence?

Let's convince ourselves.

What are you actively studying at that university

My name is Kameyama Junshi.
This kind of story is common, but if you compare yourself to people, this kind of problem won't be solved forever. That's because your independence isn't there. The name of the university and the standard score do not educate you. What do you actively learn at that university, and that is what educates you. If that university really doesn't suit you, you may retake the exam, and you can also transfer from the 3rd year. Thinking about going on to graduate school is probably one option. There is a woman who is a student of mine who has transferred from a junior college in another prefecture to a local university in Iwate, and currently works as a public health nurse in Iwate. It seems that one of the things she always supported her heart when she was a student was a homemade college entrance exam lottery that I made each person in my class draw before the center exam in her third year of high school. The omikuji she drew says, “There are no impossible characters in my life.” It is said that was it. In any case, it can be said that a satisfying life awaits only those who are willing to carve out their own lives with their own hands.
These are my answers. Please enjoy a fulfilling college life.

Proof that you did your best

I understand your feelings very well.

It's disappointing that the results didn't come out properly even though I was working so hard.
Having such feelings is proof that you have worked hard until now.

Please take good care of that tingling chest pain.
I'm sure you'll become a kind woman who understands people's feelings in the future.

Why don't you look further ahead and think about it

Certainly, it is true that it is advantageous to get a job under a university name, etc.
However, there are so many successful people regardless of the name of the university.
Why don't you take pleasure in the fact that you were able to set aside 4 years of time to look at yourself just by entering college.
What is required of working adults in the future is not the name of a university, but the ability to think and think.
Please try various things during your 4 years at university!
After all, people who have had various experiences are more flexible in their thinking, and their ability to avoid risk is also higher.
I don't know if I'll get a job at the company, but “what did you do at university?” I always get asked that question.
Please take good care of your 4 years, which seem like a long and precious time.
Play is also very important for refining your communalization skills, so please do lots of meaningful play.
