I'm on leave of absence due to depression, and I'm at a loss about returning to work or retiring

I would like to discuss two things.

① I'm depressed due to relationships at work and I'm currently on leave of absence, but I'm at a loss about returning to work or retiring. When I retire, I'm going to take 3 months of vocational training and then study abroad, which I've always wanted to go to. I'm worried about whether to return to work or retire from the following points.

●Reinstatement●
・Good points:
They may not retire unwillingly; they may be able to return to society by going to work for rehabilitation (short hours); they may be able to obtain new knowledge and technology in a new department; they may make connections with people in the company's overseas offices and cooperate when studying abroad

・Bad points:
You may meet the people who caused it face to face or speak ill of you (since they were forced to speak ill of it even before the leave of absence), you may be seen as a person with problems within the company, you have only been given half-hearted work until now, but it may not change even if you are transferred, or your medical condition may worsen

② When I discussed the issue of the people that caused this time with HR, they asked me if I would conduct an internal investigation if my story was true, but I don't think people in the company would say the truth (it's not positive), and if I said it to HR, the risk is high and I can't ask for it. However, if I don't come to a conclusion on that issue, I also feel like I can't move forward thinking about those people all the time.

Should we ask for an internal investigation? Are there any other better ways?
Also, the company only asked about the presence or absence of an obstacle to work due to this issue, and it doesn't seem to respond to the things I had a hard time with (my boss was sent to work by someone who clearly favors me no matter who sees it, my personal information was told to people and it was disgusting, and since it was my boss, I couldn't discuss anything, etc.). Maybe that's the company, but isn't there a way to get them to take action on it as a problem?

If you don't do anything and have no choice but to forgive, how can you forgive people you hate?

Thank you for your support.

Go above and beyond

All you have to do is take the plunge and change your “goals.”
It's not about returning or living income
“Eliminate the suffering of people in the world by writing a book to save people who have experienced the same suffering as me.”
Please feel the great mission that only you can do.
This really is just you.
I would definitely like to ask for it.
Everyone retired and sought jobs due to stress and harassment, and they cried and fell asleep there.
Everyone ended up being sacrificed for it.
Women, in particular, are almost always crushed by a male society.
Please help those people.
Hating people and having a sense of being a victim is just a loss. Please throw away your sense of victimization and resentment, and stand up for it without being swayed by people's rumors or being crushed.
Think of this as a test given to me by heaven, and please strongly change the goal and meaning of working for a company to “spread the power to save people who have experienced the same stress as me.”
If your goals change, your coping will change even when you meet someone you don't like.
Strength is born when you can't afford to fall down because of this.
Everyone is convinced of its power to save many people. That energy will save you, too, and you'll be able to forgive even those you hated.
By choosing a way of life that is useful to many people, you will surely be saved.

Let's thank the company that left us even when we were on leave of absence.

If you really want to quit your job, I think it's a good idea to quit. There's nothing wrong with working with someone you don't like. Depression can't be cured either.
As far as I read this sentence, I thought without permission that you would like to continue this work. If your company has a branch or sales office, I think it's a good idea to move there and keep a distance from people you don't like. I don't know what kind of work I want to do, but if I do my current job steadily, I will “go around in a hurry” to the job I want to do. (Based on my experience.)
Anyway, the first one is to keep a distance from people you don't like, and think about going even a little far. Fortunately, the personnel department seems to be able to stand by you, so how about passing that opinion through?
Second, it's better to stop studying abroad. You should do this kind of thing while you're a student, and once you start working, whatever you need to do is take a break (relieve stress). It involves your own life, so you should think carefully about it. If it's a resignation order from the company, it can't be helped...
There is a term called Ikkana Pearl (Ikkamyoju). This is because a monk didn't have enough training under his master, and when he set out on a trip to further deepen his insight, he stumbled upon a stone on the way and hurt his foot. My body isn't the same. I am constantly undergoing pain and changing. Where does the pain come from? The story is that when I thought about it, what I was looking for outside became futile, and I went back to my master. It's a bit difficult, but in simple terms, things that don't work well on the inside don't work well even when you go outside. It means that if you don't always think and act on what to do, it will only lead to the same results even when you go outside. A pearl is a treasure. The important thing is to find the treasure within yourself.

Make choices you won't regret

I will answer it as a person suffering from depression.
It is said that there are two causes of depression.
Trying too hard
I'm putting up with it too much
The first thing to do is look for these two causes.
The specific method is to write it out with a pencil on a blank sheet of paper.
When I do this kind of work, the cause of my depression becomes clear.
Why don't you check what you've written carefully and make your choice?

Use various systems as much as possible

This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is my humble answer to the question.

They seem to be mentally ill due to relationship issues at work, and they seem to be worried about whether to return to work or retire... there was a question about how relationships at work didn't go well before, they became depressed, and they were troubled by not being able to decide on a leave of absence.

Question “I'm depressed due to relationships, but I can't decide to take a leave of absence”

In the case of this person, I also introduced suggestions for consultations with the General Labor Consultation Center, Gender Equality Center, and Labor Standards Inspection Office, and the use of the Injury and Sickness Allowance Benefit System, Leave Allowance Benefit System, and Unemployment Allowance Benefit System, assuming that fear of power harassment may be the cause.

Also, “... if I actually take a leave of absence, I would like to complete the procedure, slowly rest and heal both mentally and physically so that I can take a firm leave of absence, and if possible, have a place to regularly exchange opinions with the company side, discuss the environment after returning, and make arrangements so that I can return smoothly. Of course, whether or not the company has any understanding in such cases will also be greatly questioned...” I am aware that the environment for returning will be very different even depending on the attitude of the company side. Depending on internal circumstances, I wonder how discussions can proceed so that they can arrange an environment where they can return as much as possible by proposing a change of department, personnel change of assignment, etc.

“If you don't do anything and have no choice but to forgive, how can you forgive people you hate?” ・・

“... In terms of Buddhism, bad behavior due to hatred will lead to bad consequences, so if you want to reduce or eliminate this feeling of frustration even a little so that you don't have to hate as much as possible, I think it would be better to proceed properly and quietly by using various systems as described above. ・・”

When it comes to retirement due to obvious power harassment, of course, there is also a way to go to court and fight... but I know that various hurdles are still high. If you want to consider it, please consult with an attorney.

I pray for good deeds.
