I want to calm my thoughts

When watching news and comments related to it on TV, the internet, etc., various impressions and opinions may come to mind.
It would be nice if that were all, but there are times when you refute comments on the internet in your head, create imaginary enemies thinking that there are people saying this, and you don't digest your own emotions well, and you may feel depressed. Even if I try not to think too much about it, when I notice it, I end up in the same situation again.
Originally, I like to think about various things in my own way, but recently I often feel like I can't divide them because of that.
I try not to watch news that causes this kind of state (news where discussions are taking place) as much as possible, but I can't completely avoid it, and I also think it's not good to be too indifferent to the news.
How can I stop arguing in my head and refuting imaginary comments like this? Also, how should we deal with things that make us feel inexplicable by doing so?

Breathing to soothe yourself

Thank you Noisama for your consultation.

I hope you want to calm your mind.
I want to calm my mind bothered by posts and comments on public news, SNS, etc.
Is that OK too?
If I were to recommend it,
Mindfulness meditation, where you simply focus your attention without judging or evaluating your current state, focus your attention on your breathing now and here, and gradually breathe slowly, slowly, slowly and deeply,
It is a breathing technique that soothes oneself, and allows you to get a comfortable feeling and calm your mind.

If you blame or despise yourself because you can't digest it or if you don't want to be in such a state, you become even more confused and depressed.
So, if you get upset or your emotions are swayed, don't blame yourself gently
Without denying myself, I move away from that thought, return to my breathing now and now, concentrate my consciousness on the breath that comes out and the breath that comes in, gradually make breathing comfortable, and calm down. I think that's easier to put into practice.
I think it's a good idea to do it over and over again each time and make it a habit.
It takes practice, but if you learn it, it will be useful in many situations.

People's hearts are shaken. The brain is designed to receive and respond to stimuli.
They can't process it well, and they are swayed by thoughts and fantasies.
Everyone is like that.
So, if you notice that your emotions are raging, don't blame yourself, be gentle and calm, stay away from those feelings and thoughts, have compassion for yourself, and calm your mind by taking a leisurely breath.
There may be difficult times. In such a case, ask someone you trust to stay by your side
It is also necessary to be healed and feel safe and secure. Also, it's a good idea to take a leisurely breath. Please try it out.

There are differences when positions change. Seen as a way of looking at me, I live my life

News that cause a stir in the world is coming in one after another, isn't it? Now everything quickly becomes internet news, various people can write about it, and people are swept away by it.

I also check the internet and SNS for the time being, but I had the illusion that the story was at the center of the world, and someone often said it! I'm watching it from a bird's-eye view, saying that it's justice, and well, it's selfish.

There are all kinds of people, and all kinds of ideas are born. There are as many values as there are people, and there is no right or wrong with them.
If that's the case, it's just a matter of looking at it as one way of looking at it. If you're about to be shaken, you can shake it together (it's natural that there are differences if we change positions), and let's be convinced (I should live my life).

because an inexplicable fact is reality

There are inexplicable facts and disagreements of interest in the world, so I think it's unavoidable to feel unexplained when you know them.
We living in this world are foolish creatures covered in annoyance (confusion), and for that reason, we repeat foolish actions (actions), feel trouble and suffering (suffering), and our worries (confusion) begin to make extra noise (confusion) because of our suffering.
Confusion → karma → suffering → perplexity → karma → suffering
We are such a group of problem children who have repeatedly been unable to graduate (free) from reincarnation and remain in this world for a reason.
Well, if you think “humans are animals too, so basically the weak eat the strong,” you can be convinced of inequality to some extent.
Also, regarding disparities, “there are people who have received excellent talent from their parents, there are people who have received assets and educational environments, and there are also people who have received knowledge and connections. There are also people who have received something from people other than their parents. It's just that the shape and amount of blessings I've received is different, so I can't help but be jealous.” If you think about it, you can be convinced to some extent.
It is impossible to simply compare incompetent rich people, poor talents, poor and stupid beautiful men and women, who are the most blessed, but for example, it is possible to adjust the results that can be quantified, such as changing taxes to be paid depending on how much they earned as a result.
Also, there is suffering with any option, and you have no choice but to live and die in your own way, taking into account the merits and demerits.
Either way, you just have to live until you die.
So let's think “well, okay?”

Let's leave it alone for a while

I read it.
As you said, I really understand the feeling that all kinds of information flooded in and made my heart flutter and couldn't be divided. I understand your feelings from the bottom of my heart.
I'm also watching recent reports, and I feel that my heart is so upset that I'm worried about what to think.
I think it would be a matter of getting away from the hustle and bustle of the world even a little bit.
How is your place of residence?
I think the morning sun is shining brightly and gently shining down on you today too.
Illuminated by the rising sun, the mountains of Nikko and Nasu are beautiful in the north and Mt. Fuji in the south.
It's cold, but the air is fresh and the blue sky is spreading infinitely.
Compared to our foolishness, wonderful nature has leisurely marked that time.
Why don't you leave the internet, TV, and various information alone for a while and take a leisurely look back at yourself surrounded by nature.
Various birds are probably coming close to you, and camellias and plum blossoms are probably starting to bloom even in the cold. If you take a slow look at these living things, I think your mind will calm down too.
I sincerely pray that you will continue to grow healthily every day from now on while being blessed with many wonderful things, and that you will be able to survive richly and peacefully from the bottom of your heart. And I will support you from the bottom of my heart. We wholeheartedly agree
