How to have real regrets and remorse

What kind of things are regrets and remorse in the true sense of the word?
I have committed many sins in the past. However, even if I remember that event, I paralyze my brain by watching videos on my smartphone in an attempt to forget it right away.
There were times when it became difficult to think deeply about that. However, I think that pain comes from a self-centered feeling that I don't want to get hurt.

Is it only when you understand the seriousness of the crime you have committed (such as being returned for what you have done) that you regret in the true sense of the word? However, I think that is something that can only be achieved if you have an impact on yourself.

Can't people who unknowingly hurt many people in the first place regret it from the beginning?

When I walk around town and meet people I know in my family, I feel like they know everything I've done up until now.
When I watch news about incidents that occurred due to relentless relationships, I repeat it on myself.
When I see reports of bullying, I feel uneasy that I also committed such violence. My past memories are vague. I can't say I definitely didn't do it.

What are regrets and remorse in the true sense of the word?
I don't want to do anything that would incite people's resentment any more. I want to live straight.
I'm sorry for saying this even though I've hurt you until now.

I don't really understand the person I am.
Is this just a childish excuse?

Rest your mind. Don't hold it to yourself; the first thing to do is rest your mind.

In the midst of your painful feelings, you gathered up your courage and put it into words. “What are real regrets?” It's not about blaming yourself or continuing to suffer. It's about quietly accepting that “I have a sad nature (pain) that hurts people” as a fact.

The reason you distract yourself with your smartphone isn't because you're “running away,” but because your heart screams so much that you can't look directly at it. It's a natural response to try to protect yourself, and it's definitely not childish.

Buddhism teaches that everyone is an “ordinary man (bonbu)” who unknowingly harms others for as long as they live. Watching the news and blaming yourself or being afraid of the eyes around you may be proof that your mind is now very sensitive and exhausted to the limit.

That desire to “live a straight life” is the heart of the Buddha, which is more precious than anything else. However, the ability to support that heart is weak now. Please talk about that “vague anxiety” to an expert in psychosomatic medicine etc. and take a break from your mind. Don't hold it to yourself; the first thing to do is rest your mind. That is the first step towards “real reflection” for you right now.

“I want to be like this!”

Nice to meet you. My name is Hirofumi (Kobun).

from the bottom of my heart
“I want to be like this!” The time to wish
I wonder if it's a set with true regret and remorse
I have something to think about.

it was definitely a slam dump or something
In a popular basketball comic with that name

The characters
“Why am I wasting my time...”
The whole body was depicted showing a state of deep regret.

It's frustrating!!

What makes me think is that I am keenly aware that my self up until then was shallow
“I want to be like this!” I wonder if it's because I run into something called that.

It may not be that easy to meet,
What is the content of your question
I'm sure past events and myself up until then
I think the words came from Haru herself precisely because she wants to change things for the better.

I'm reading your post
It felt like that.

I would appreciate it if you could use it as a reference.

Be influenced by people's actions, relationships with people, and people who have a good way of life

Even if you forget it right away, why don't you act when you remember or have a determination?

I wonder what kind of regrets and remorse they have, but after all, crimes committed against people around them disappoint their partner and cause people to move away. When you're in trouble, no one will help you, so when you think you have to reflect on it, apologize right away, and properly look back on what you have to be careful about when dealing with your sins and keep it in your head.

Also, have someone to talk to. Hasunoha is fine, so if you have trouble, please talk to us before taking action. Then we can think about it together.

Also, be positively influenced by adults close to you who serve as role models. I want to be able to reflect (way of life) in the true sense of the word while imitating the wonderful parts of people who act, get involved with people, and have a good way of life.

I have to reflect! I have that regret.
I can change properly.

I read it.
You feel uneasy that you have unknowingly committed various crimes or hurt others, and you want to regret it. You're wondering what real regrets and remorse are. I don't know the details of you, but I accept your feelings from the bottom of my heart.
I think there are times when you think you don't want to get hurt. That's because every human being cares about themselves.
Nonetheless, we all make mistakes. Therefore, in between, it is very important to take this matter firmly and face it.
If you think you have committed a mistake, please confess it by putting your hands together with the Buddha, gods, and ancestors from the bottom of your heart, slowly reflect on it, and sincerely repent to the Buddha, gods, and ancestors.
Also, sincerely apologize to the Buddha, gods, and ancestors for the mistakes you have committed, and sincerely apologize to those you have hurt.
Also, please swear from the bottom of your heart to the Buddha, gods, and ancestors not to commit such mistakes.
Buddha, gods, and ancestors will kindly accept all of your thoughts, repentance, apologies, and vows. He is close to your heart. He will guide you in the right direction.
From now on, I sincerely pray to the Buddha, gods, and ancestors so that you can reflect on your mistakes with an honest heart, repent, apologize for your mistakes, and be willing to do good thoughts, words, and actions, and live a healthy life.
And I wholeheartedly support you.
