Insomnia is not curable

Insomnia has been going on for a long time. The trigger was depression, but even after my depression got better, I couldn't sleep without taking sleeping pills and anxiolytics. There are waves of insomnia, and the period when it gets worse is really painful. As long as I can sleep, my state of mind is good. There is no one I can talk to, and I am filled with fear when I think that this will continue as it is. Please tell me how to calm anxiety.

The current difficult state of “erratic conduct” will never last forever.

I've been struggling with insomnia for a long time, and it was really hard. On a sleepless night alone, I deeply understand the feeling of being wrapped in anxiety, saying “this fear will continue forever.”

The first thing I want you to cherish is to firmly follow the doctor's instructions that are currently being taken and continue treatment without being impatient. Getting medical help is an important first step in protecting yourself.

Many people who suffer from insomnia have some kind of stress, such as relationships or the environment. However, it is extremely difficult to completely eliminate the cause from the root. Therefore, don't just get caught up in painful events, and it doesn't matter what trivial everyday things are, so find “fun” and try turning your consciousness little by little.

Also, it is important to balance “movement” and “stillness” in our lives. During the day, exercise your body with light exercise, etc., and have a “dynamic time” that gives your brain and body a pleasant sense of fatigue. Also, at night, let's have a “quiet time” where you can burn incense to feel at ease, enjoy a warm drink slowly, and listen to a puja at a temple to calm your mind.

In Buddhism, there is a teaching called “impermanent behavior (shogyomujo).” Everything in this world has changed, and the current difficult state will never last forever. The waves will always calm down. Please don't blame yourself and stay relaxed tonight.

It seems better not to think that you have to sleep. Lie down, remove strength from your body, breathe slowly, close your eyes, and don't think about anything. Let's think that's all it takes.

Light is shining on you

I read it.
I read that you are very worried about not being able to sleep easily. I don't know the details about you or the people around you, but I really understand your concerns.
I think there are various reasons why we can't sleep easily. If you have various worries in your life or anxiety in terms of life, you won't be able to sleep easily.
Nonetheless, humans and living things are designed so that they always sleep. If possible, why don't you try being exposed to the sun little by little from now on, bathe in the spring light, or take a walk little by little. When I go out for a walk in my countryside, rapeseed flowers are blooming all over the river now. Just looking at its beauty makes me feel better. It makes me think I'll just walk a little further.
If you do that, move your body moderately, you may be able to sleep well.
There are many things that happen when you're alive, but even so, you're probably living well right now. I live surrounded by important people.
I sincerely pray to Buddha, gods, and ancestors that you will be blessed with many wonderful relationships in the future and that you can take care of yourself, be healed, and sleep with peace of mind.

Meditation is recommended

There are only two ways to rest your brain.
One is sleep and the other is meditation.
Meditation also has the effect of inducing sleep and improving sleep quality.
There are many guidebooks published for beginners, but I recommend using the app.
The app I love offers a variety of menus, such as “meditation before sleep” and “meditation to improve sleep quality.”
You can practice basic meditation by simply following the narrator's instructions with a pleasant BGM in the background.
There's also a free menu, so we recommend you first try to see if it's right for you.

Please be sure to consult your doctor. Take care.

It's been a long time... it bothers me, and it's painful, isn't it? What is the doctor's diagnosis?

I also think my autonomic nerves are disturbed. Try not to accumulate stress as much as possible while moving your body with moderate exercise, stretching, etc., and trying to live a regular lifestyle.

It affects the mind and body, so I would like you to practice the medical approach after all.
Please be sure to consult your doctor. Take care.
