War and the anxiety of life

I'm worried about the war and the future of life.
When I thought that an era of poverty due to lack of crude oil would come from now on, I became depressed and fell ill.
Furthermore, it is scary to think that the Constitution will be revised in the future and that Japan will also participate in the war.
What kind of mindset should I spend every day while I don't even know tomorrow?

Let's continue to seek peace

I read it.
You feel very uneasy that you will get involved in a war from now on and have a difficult life. I don't know the details about you, but I feel like I understand your anxiety and concerns very well. I understand your feelings from the bottom of my heart.
America attacked Iran, the Persian Gulf was blocked, crude oil prices soared, and you thought you would be in a state of great distress, so you fell into a state of depression and got sick. Also, it makes me think that Japan will amend its constitution and participate in the war. I understand very well that you would think that.

I am calling for people to live peacefully so as not to go to war. We have experienced World War II and know how stupid or sinful war is. I know how important peace is.
I think it's very important to believe and act like that yourself first.
I think it's very important to keep sending messages so as not to commit the same mistakes again.
The Buddha's teaching conveys that everyone who never fights will be saved. Abandoning peace and proceeding with the dispute is an act that clearly goes against the teachings of the Buddha.
Each person has very little power, but if each person acts to seek peace that never wars, wars can always be stopped, and everyone can live peacefully with peace of mind.

I hope you too can live your life in search of peace.

I sincerely pray to the Buddha, gods, and ancestors so that all disputes will stop, and that peace will come to an end and that everyone will be able to respect and be considerate of each other, and that they can live a life rich in happiness from the bottom of their hearts. We wholeheartedly agree

Even so, humanity has developed

For example, there have been voices for decades that there have been concerns about food crises and resource shortages due to population explosions,
If agricultural robots are developed and production capacity can be secured to cover food for all humankind, there will be no need to worry that humans will starve.
In other words, even if wars and disasters do not go away, there is a possibility that problems can be reduced if human life develops through technological development.
Since I was a child, it has been said that the future will be difficult due to population explosions, global warming, and acid rain.
However, on the other hand, inventions have been made in fields that no one had anticipated, such as the internet and mobile phones, and at least I personally feel that I am living a more convenient and comfortable life than when I was a child.
You can also think optimistically that “human inventions” have not been abandoned, and even if problems occur, there will surely be inventions and advancements that surpass them.
Either way,
It's a life where you can only do what you can do anyway.
With ad libs each time, do what you can do now to the extent you can, and think that if you live until you die, you'll have a successful life.
We must prepare for tomorrow and next year so as not to fail! If you decide that, it will lead to anxiety and fear.
Tomorrow's problems should be dealt with tomorrow.
Rest assured, there will always be unexpected inventions in the future that no one anticipated.
Children who cry because they are afraid of injections suffer even though they haven't been injected yet.
Adults feel pain after being injected, but they are calm because there is no pain before they are injected.
Let's apply it to life in general, saying “injections should hurt after being injected.”

Rather than being overwhelmed by major problems, take care of your own mind and body.

Every day, they have anxiety about not being able to see the future, and they say they are even sick, so it's really painful not to rest your mind. If you witness the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East, and the associated impact on your life, it is natural to feel uneasy.

Regarding concerns about constitutional amendments and wars, Japan has not fought a war under the current Constitution for over 80 years. There is a very high hurdle for the laws that determine the state of a country to change, and it is not that easy for the situation to completely change tomorrow. So please be a little relieved.

There is a teaching in Buddhism that “you must not kill yourself, and you must not let others kill you.” What you strongly desire for a peaceful world without war is a natural and precious heart that fits the teachings of Buddhism, which values life.

As for the question “how should you spend your time,” please put your own mental and physical care first rather than getting exhausted by major issues. We alone have little power, but we must cherish the peaceful everyday life in front of us, and continue praying quietly for peace every day. Your daily activities and the accumulation of prayers will eventually become a sure source of peace of mind for yourself.

In a global society

Wars continued to occur in various parts of the world even after Japan reached the end of the war.
There has never been an end to children starving to death due to poverty.
Not limited to petroleum, many things around us have been made in faraway countries and transported over time.
In such a global society, it would no longer be permissible for only one country to enjoy peace and prosperity.
Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring.
The Ukrainians probably didn't even think that their garden would become a battlefield.
There's no need to be caught up in anxiety, but living by closing your eyes to reality is wrong.
It doesn't matter how small it is, so live your day by day thinking about what you can do for world peace and prosperity.
