I look stinky.

It's not like everyone around me says it, but it looks stinky.
It smells like animals even when you don't keep living creatures, and it smells fishy even though you don't store trash.
Maybe it's just filthy, but even when I took a bath with my friend, I couldn't get rid of the smell.
Maybe it's that kind of body, but I've come to think that maybe the filth stuck in my soul is oozing out.

Shamefully, I grew up without my parents teaching me anything about how to live.
I didn't even wash my face, wash my hair, brush my teeth, or dry my hair with a hair dryer.
Problems occurred at home without being taught anything, I went out into society without knowing anything, and since I had no relatives, I managed to live while being helped by the administration once in a while.

However, my life span is probably already over half, and I still don't understand life in a normal household.
Even if they say it's stinky, I can't fix it because I don't know how to live properly.
I've been living alone for a long time.
I have friends, but they have nurturing parents and families that support each other, so I don't feel like they are the same in any way.
From the point of view of those brilliant people, I think that I, having a dingy upbringing, is still very dirty.
It's not that they don't like you, they say you're kinder than anyone else, and they try to share your hardships.
Still, I must be really smelly from the soul.

Even though I thought I had worked hard on my own, I was only able to live a life where I really couldn't help it.
Why does my existence smell so bad?
Why doesn't the bad smell, as if my parents put it on, go away even after so much time has passed?
Is there no choice but to live as a ditch, and is there any value in living?

There is also a possibility that they think they have “autophobia”

Up until now, you've worked hard to survive alone without being able to rely on anyone. First, please take deep care of your own life path.

I'm thinking it might smell from “dirt stuck in the soul,” but that's definitely not the case. In Buddhism, there is a teaching of “lotus,” which produces pure flowers that never get dirty even in muddy water. Your soul will never be tainted just because you have survived a harsh environment. As your friends say, “You are kinder than anyone else,” your essence is very pure and precious.

As for odors, lifestyle habits I didn't have a chance to learn in my childhood are just things I need to learn little by little from now on. Also, there is a possibility that your mind has become hypersensitive and assume it as “autophobia.” One way to take care of yourself is to consult a doctor who specializes in dermatology or psychosomatic medicine without taking care of yourself alone.

You're definitely not a ditch. The Buddha gently envelops you in your worries and suffering just the way you are. Please don't blame yourself, trust your friends' warm words, and relax your shoulders just a little bit.

What causes your smell

Children are thankful to have parents.
However, that is also a story until puberty.
Someday, I'll have to stand alone and paddle out into the ocean called society alone.
Irreverently, when I hear stories from good adults like you that “my parents didn't teach me anything” or “I became this kind of person because of my toxic parents,” I want to insult them “what are you saying you spoiled” and “prioritize solutions over searching for the cause.”
If you don't understand lifestyle habits, grooming, and manners, it's enough if you read a book about them (piled up a lot when you go to a bookstore).
There is no doubt that the smell you are concerned about also emanates from remorse and reluctance towards your surroundings.
If you are praised by your friends as being “kinder than anyone else” (you're actually a great person), the smell will quickly disappear once you realize your worth and gain confidence.

You are never dirty

I read it.
People say you smell bad, and they're really bothered by it. I don't know how you or the people around you say that, but I think you are having a very hard time. I don't know the details, but I accept your feelings from the bottom of my heart.

Specifically, I have no idea what kind of smell you make, but since all humans are living creatures, they smell slightly. On the contrary, smelling is proof that you are alive.

Japanese people don't have that much body odor relatively often, but foreign people have incomparable body odor depending on food and lifestyle. I understand that very well when I go abroad. That's why there are perfumes.

Also, many Japanese people take a bath every day to thoroughly wash their body and hair, brush their teeth, and wash their face. So I don't think there's that much body odor. Conversely, since you use a lot of body soap, shampoo, and treatments, you may smell that smell.
If you bathe, brush your teeth, and wash your face every day, I don't think you'll be that bothered you.

You're never dirty, and I don't think you smell. You are a very precious and valuable person. You have received your life in the midst of various encounters, and are blessed with various relationships and are living in the present. There are many people who take good care of you from the bottom of their heart.
The Buddha, gods, and ancestors also take good care of you from the bottom of their hearts.

I sincerely pray to the Buddha, gods, and ancestors that you can continue to live a healthy and clean life every day while being blessed with many wonderful encounters and relationships, and that you will cherish your existence and live a rich and precious life that is irreplaceable.
And I will support you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm also concerned about the family I grew up in. Are you living in a safe environment right now?

It's fine. What you haven't learned or been taught should be learned from now on. There's a lot to know by watching, listening, and even if you don't ask directly. You can always start a habit, and if you put it into practice, you'll learn it.

The smell will disappear if you clean it. Also, if it's an odor coming from your body, why don't you do a health check, review your diet, and do oral care and a checkup to see if your stomach or internal organs are weak? You should definitely consult a doctor.

I'm also curious about the family you grew up in. Have you been abused by your parents? Are you living in a safe environment right now?
