I want to stop inheriting temples.
I've been told since I was little that I would take over a temple and a side job.
I chose where to go to high school and college just because I didn't want to be a monk.
While I was in college, I wanted to return the favor to my father and mother, so I obtained the qualification of a monk through transfer.
After graduation, I worked as a subordinate of my father's side job, and also worked as a deputy chief priest at a temple. The side job was full time 5 days a week, and the temple staff participated in events and went with the chief priest to memorize memorial services, etc.
However, I have been diagnosed with panic disorder since about 3 years ago, and I have managed to continue my side job with the prescribed medicine, but even when I'm taking it, I can't think when I think about the temple, and I can't eat meals.
I have a strong fear of not being able to do what I was able to do until now after becoming a panic disorder. There is such a thing, and currently my work at the temple is limited to participating only in events.
Right now, my work is worth living only because I think I can commit suicide and run away from everything if I reach my limit.
I like side jobs, so if that's all, I'd like to take over, but I don't think there's such a convenient story, and if I quit, it would cause a lot of trouble to my family, and I wouldn't be able to show my face to the parishioners.
It's painful every day with only 2 choices: return the favor I've received from my family with revenge and live alone in a faraway land, or commit suicide if the limit is reached as it is.
I'm an immature and bad person, but please show me the way. please.
