I was proud to be able to draw...

I've lived until now, and I've loved drawing since I was in elementary school.
I was severely bullied by boys when I was in elementary school, and even though I wasn't dealt with by girls because it was dark
How about being able to relieve loneliness by drawing pictures, train a lot of imagination, and draw interesting manga
Drawing will save everything! If I can draw, I'll have more friends and I'm happy! This is all I need!
Even though I'm enjoying it, I have very strong regrets about seriously running away from college in my late teens, such as going to a vocational school majoring in manga.
Let's become a manga artist in Shogakukan, which was my dream when I was around 20 years old! Even though I was enthusiastic, on the news that one manga artist was told terrible things by the editor-in-chief
I was afraid of getting hurt, I couldn't trust him, so I gave up right away...
Then I was so distrustful of people I was bullied that I couldn't trust anyone at all anymore...
And now that I'm 39, AI illustrations are popular, and they have spread to the point where AI illustrations are used on TV
I wanted to be a painter, draw manga, draw illustrations, and make lots of people laugh
Those AI illustrations are so beautiful, the number of people using them is increasing, and the technology has become amazing...
The pictures I've been drawing, the manga... seemed... lame, and furthermore, the time to draw pictures was slow and difficult...
I can't draw anymore... I'm still in a state where I can't draw at all.
I've lost my purpose. We are now in an age where people who can draw are no longer needed.
Until now, the feeling that “drawing is what I am most proud of” has become completely worthless.
I wonder if everything I've lived up until now was for nothing...?
Will the times kill painters, believe in AI, and people who draw pictures become trash and thrown away...?
Was I born to live by drawing pictures in order to be killed by God?
Honestly, I want to know the answer. After all, my life wasn't able to live without being able to study properly, so I have no choice but to become homeless or a criminal in the future?

A new world, a new self every moment

Even if you have a car, there are athletics competitions.
Therefore, there will continue to be scenes where people are impressed and entertained by being good at painting.
On the other hand, there are fashion and obsolescence for any kind of work or entertainment.
To follow the trend of the times.
I think it's because you're good at drawing that you can properly use generative AI.
Let's also make full use of AI to create new works.
The other day, I created images for use in temple sermons with AI.
If you indicate some kind of image in words, they will draw a specific picture. It's fast up to that point, but when I tried to make fine adjustments from there, these unintended corrections were added, and the final preparations didn't go very well.
If you compare it to bread, it's like they bake a decent amount of bread, but it doesn't work for professional bakeries.
Buddhism teaches that everything is impermanent.
Impermanent also means that it comes up and disappears moment by moment, and continues to change, in other words, it is new every moment.
A new world, a new you, every moment.
A past life is like a past life.
Your new you now is a new baby that has just been born, a new life.
Why don't you ride AI as one of the painters who witnessed the founding of AI?
appending
I haven't done it yet, but at some point, I'd like to have AI read a hand-drawn picture and process it.

hidden power. While using it as a weapon, let's also increase your strength.

The times are evolving steadily. Its speed is also fast. However, it was humans who created AI. AI creates from huge amounts of data, but it is human creativity that creates new things. Even if AI didn't exist, many people would have been able to do it if they were to draw pictures. Those who go beyond that are people with creative power. People who master every field come out one after the other. Humans will always create them.

I don't think it's just AI's fault.
If “drawing pictures is what you are most proud of,” use that as a weapon while also increasing your strength. Let's develop a sense that only you can show, not good or bad.

They say we want to know the answer, but we don't know. What I can say is that I will retreat from the world of painting that has eaten up here.

A hidden power. Let's raise them. The answer is up to you.

AI is a by-product

I read it.
I read what bothers you so much. You've been proud of being able to draw, but you're worried that society doesn't need a painter anymore and that your existence is no longer worth living. I don't know the details about you, but it really conveys that you are depressed and uneasy. I understand your feelings from the bottom of my heart.
As you may be worried, AI technology has made it easy for the general public to create many illustrations and pictures. If that happens, it's true that painters, illustrators, manga artists, and artists may be very uneasy.
That's because my work up until now will be imitated. The people who do creative activities as you think so may be fearful of fighting. I think you're right.
Nonetheless, paintings were created by humans. Even if you look back and think about it from past history, things that express what humans have imagined in life and emotions are pictures, art, sculptures, illustrations, comics, animations, movies, plays, and buildings. AI simply imitates past works and things, or is a by-product of past creations.
So what humans imagine is very precious, and it's really valuable.
I understand how disappointed you are, but nothing has ever changed in the way that what you create has been and will be so valuable.
I sincerely pray that you will continue to create what you want in your own way and that you will be able to live a truly rich, moisturized, and fulfilling everyday life, and that you will be able to live a truly happy life by making things together with the people around you. And I wholeheartedly support you. We wholeheartedly agree

I saw your consultation, Sakuramochi.

You've loved drawing since you were in elementary school, right?

Me too, so I was allowed to answer ^_^

When you're drawing, you get a lot of imagination, don't you think?

Please draw an interesting manga.

There are plenty of places where you can post anonymously for free! If you're afraid of comments, you can decline them.

When it comes to AI, you can think of it like an assistant.

Not hostile.

I want to see the manga drawn by Sakuramochi.
When it's time to draw, I'm also very slow at brushing.

That's why I'm experimenting with various things, such as mixing pictures I've drawn with AI.

I think people who draw pictures and have a lot of imagination aren't trash; the opposite is true.

Also, don't forget that even if you can just draw, it's a gift from God.

If you're a real painter, you don't care about people's evaluations.

First, I draw for myself. For myself to live.

So is music, and so is painting.

If I don't draw, I'll almost die, so I draw.
If you don't make it, it's likely to fall apart, so I make works.

That is proof of life.

People will be moved by that.

Please take good care of yourself for having skill and trying to ride the picture rail.

It doesn't matter what the people around you are like.

If you're an artist, please keep your own focus and move forward.

Just be yourself.

First, please draw for yourself.

Please let me support you from the bottom of my heart.

Let's work hard together to live.
