I'm so sad to lose my mom.

I lost my mother to cancer in April of this year. It was announced in September of last year, and it's only been 7 months. When the announcement was made, I told my attending physician that there are still places I want to go and that I want to see my grandson (niece from my point of view) grow. The treatment was effective, the tumor temporarily disappeared, and I was planning a trip to Hokkaido during the consecutive holidays in May. Just then, liver metastases were discovered, and the teacher did his best, but the results were disappointing. My long hair fell out, and even though I endured the painful treatment, it didn't help in the end, and I feel really sorry. I'm still 62 years old, and there are times when I feel like I'm going crazy because I was sorry, maybe my filial piety wasn't enough, and even though I said I wanted to see the faces of my grandchildren, they were still single and unfaithful. I also burst into tears during work. I'm watching videos of monks' puja and reading books to see if there are any answers. I was convinced after watching the story of Shakyamuni and Gautamy, but I still can't accept the loss of a loved one. I was also told by the funeral home that I should get a psychiatric examination. How can we heal our grief?

I'm sorry for your grief this time around, Mom. I pray for your peace of mind. Gassho prayer

Do you feel like you're reminded of your mother every day, and you're overwhelmed by sorrow?
When people lose an important person, they become confused by denying death without accepting it, or directing anger at themselves who cannot accept it. Then I blame myself for that, and I get depressed and depressed. However, this condition is an emotion that can happen to anyone, and it is not a disease.
It may be said that it is a state where we have entered a long tunnel called sorrow.
The length varies from person to person, but everyone eventually accepts that death, and while harboring that sadness, talks about the memories of the deceased, and recovers to their independent self, as if they had a new identity that they had graduated from a parent-child relationship.

You're probably in the tunnel right now, don't be surprised if you suddenly burst into tears, please cry. Try to express the emotions that come out from time to time without denying it. By releasing various emotions that come from sorrow, you will gradually be able to heal.
Also, when you don't want to meet people or want to keep quiet, I think it's okay to take a break from work for a while and use it to rest your mind. You should be honest with your feelings. However, please spend your time thinking that the day will come when you will be healed day by day.
Furthermore, there is a therapy called grief care, so it's a good idea to look for it in a familiar place and have them listen to your feelings. If you don't have a place close to you, I think you can do it online.
If you are a Buddhist, your mother will definitely attain Buddhism. Becoming a Buddha, or becoming a Buddha, means you are in a position to protect your family, starting with you, and you have that power. By delivering memorial services such as offering sutras, the mother will increase her power. The position is different, but the connection and bond will continue for a long time, so be sure to feel the connection with your mother through the voices of gassho and sutras. I'm sure your mother will smile and express words of gratitude, saying “thank you.”
Please refer to it. Regret

A treasure my mother gave me. Everything becomes a supporting force.

That is painful, isn't it? My mother is alone in this world. Since it has lost its existence, things that cannot be experienced in this world are happening. It was so sad and painful, and so lonely that I wanted to meet them, of course.

It will eat away at the lives of people who have worked so hard to live. I hate sickness.
I wish they had lived longer. They supported me just by being there for me.
They have been there for you since you were born. Having lost that support, how should we live from now on? It's very painful, isn't it?

I'd like to meet you. How good would it be if it were a dream? I want to hear your voice. I want you to call me by my name.

I want them to smile without suffering. I want you to feel safe. I want to say don't worry. but... tears are still flowing, aren't they?

An important person has been lost. These feelings, reactions, and reactions cannot be controlled; they spring up. This is called grief.

Putting your feelings into words is also about taking care of your mother. It's gratitude and love. If someone snuggles up to that feeling, your heart will warm up again.

Participating in bereaved family meetings and sharing meetings, putting it into words like this, and facing your feelings while expressing your feelings through online individual consultations is also grief care.

I'm hosting a bereaved family meeting in Osaka, but it's a bit far. Thus, I'm thinking of you from the other side of the screen. Please let me hear the feelings you want to convey to your mother in Hasunoha.

There are a lot of things that your mother left behind for you. They have taken over a lot. The memories your mother gave you, the time you spent, the words you spun, and the kindness that was directed at you are all treasures that your mother gave you. Let's keep taking good care of it. Everything will help support you.

From here on, I'll think of my mother and put my hands together.

I pray from the bottom of my heart

I read it.
I read that you are very sad that your precious mother passed away due to illness. Your mother probably felt so sorry that she still had more things she wanted to do, and you are also very sorry that you weren't able to do filial piety to your mother. I don't know the details about you, your mother, or everyone in your family, but I understand your feelings from the bottom of my heart.

Well, as you said, your mother probably still had more things she wanted to do, and she probably wanted to keep an eye on her grandchildren and everyone's growth. He may have been too young to pass away.
Each person has a life and a life given to them, they are born and live in various situations, and they live a full life.

I pray with all my heart that your mother will be at ease from the bottom of my heart. Shishin Gassho Nanmu Amida Buddha Namu Amidabutsu
Your feelings of sadness and regret won't go away, and I think my feelings for my mother will spring up from within my heart. Please put your hands together from the bottom of your heart and convey those feelings for your mother to your mother. Also, please pray with all your heart that your mother will be at ease from the bottom of her heart. We wholeheartedly agree
The mother is gently guided by the Buddha and God, and close people and ancestors who went there earlier greet her warmly. The mother is truly relieved to be reunited with close people and ancestors under the Buddha and God. The mother is saved from all hesitation and suffering, no worries are lost, and she is able to attain Buddhism cleanly. They will continue to watch over you and everyone.
Your mother will kindly accept your thoughts and comfort you by gently snuggling up to your heart. Your mother will continue to watch over you and everyone from now on. Your mother's relationship with you and everyone will last forever.
I sincerely pray that you will continue to cherish and watch over your relationship with your mother and that you will be able to live a healthy life together with everyone.
Also, when you have a full life, always guide the Buddha or God, and sincerely pray to the Buddha, God, and mother so that your mother will gently welcome you along with your ancestors. Shishin Gassho Nanmu Amida Buddha Namu Amidabutsu
Thank you very much for your reply. If you don't mind, please come and pray.

Be yourself just the way you are

I would like to express my sincere condolences on the passing of my mother.

I'm lonely.

The existence of a mother is really big.

I also saw my mom last year.

Even now, there are times when I think of my mother at an unexpected moment, and loneliness creeps up.

So I understand how you feel.

So how did I deal with that sadness?

I asked myself one question.

“What would my mother say when she saw me now.”

Seeing me keep crying every day

Would my mother be happy?

I'm sure

“Because it's fine now.”

“How long have you been crying.”

“You must live your life well.”

I feel like saying that.

Those who have died don't want us to be unhappy.

Because it's a loving family

I'm sure they want them to smile and live a happy life.

Of course, you don't have to force yourself to forget your grief.

On days when tears come out, it's OK to cry.

But beyond those tears is the life I received from my mother.

Live that life with care.

Wouldn't that be the best memorial service?

Please don't blame yourself.

There is no perfect score for filial piety.

You loved your mother, and she loved you too.

That's all it takes.

Please live as you are now, just the way you are.

I think that is the best way to return the favor to my mother.
