About visiting my father's grave that had been isolated
My father, who had been isolated for over 10 years, died of illness this year. (The reason for the isolation is my father's infidelity)
One month before my father passed away, I received an email saying “I want to see you at first sight for the last time”...
I couldn't forgive my selfish father, who didn't even say a word of apology, and I didn't go see him until the end. I was also absent from the funeral.
I've been so unfaithful to my parents, so I'd like to at least go visit graves...
“I wanted them to come see me when I was alive. Isn't my father going to get angry when he says “I don't want them to come back now”? When I think about it, it's kind of scary.
I think my grandparents, who passed away a few years ago, are also mad at me for being unfaithful, so I'm even more afraid of going to the grave.
There are no people who seem to accompany me to visit graves, so I think I'll go with my mother, but she seems even more angry and uneasy when “even my hated ex-wife followed me.”
I don't feel like saying bad things about the deceased... both my father and grandparents were the types who didn't understand people's feelings or couldn't get through, so they asked, “Why did my daughter reject her father?” I feel like they don't seem to understand it even after passing away.
Once you become a Buddha, will you be able to understand people's feelings and circumstances?
Will the grudges I had during my lifetime go away?
