Mr. Kitos
This is Kawaguchi Hidetoshi. This is a humble answer to the question.
I know it will change depending on where you set your “goals” for your life, but if your goal is worldly happiness (happiness where money, status, honor, power, etc. disappear when you die) in this life, it will end there.
Meanwhile, in Buddhism, the goal is to eventually reach “enlightenment” by working to improve the mind (continuum of mind, mental inheritance) that continues not only in this life but also in the next.
Whether the goal is worldly happiness only for this life, or is it the ultimate enlightenment that Buddhism aims for... If the latter is the goal, it will become necessary to practice Buddhism and make devotion to the development of wisdom and good deeds (good deeds, convenient practices).
Above all else, when it comes to future mental inheritance and the destination of the mental continuum, the destination and state of affairs will be determined by one's own actions (karm/karma).
Therefore, as far as possible, I would like to walk through definite Buddhism now, now, and in the future, and prepare to move towards a better destination and future by firmly adjusting good works and karma.
If possible, I would be grateful if you could take this opportunity to become even a little interested in Buddhism, and by all means proceed with your studies.
Let's work hard together.
